and most importantly, updated to 1.37.5
I would not be too interested in adding more institutions mostly because I don't have experience with UI modding and it's not something I like a lot. However I think I have made a good enough job at keeping Europe ahead of the rest of the world.
At the moment I am working on something ambitious that is taking most of my time. Once I am done with that and release it for you guys, then we can discuss new additions.
Have you ever considered doing something on the disease impact on the New World? Perhaps one event to reduce the development in a province.
One of the key factors behind Spanish (Or any European conquest) was Smallpox. Killed a 30-50% of them (potentially 80%).
Would you ever explore additional institutions later in the game? Impressed how moving it forward beefs up Europeans so they can compete more historically in Asia etc. But the world balances back out by 1700s. E.g. Global banking could be one (reduce interest rates on loans) but reflects the importance of financial houses behind expansion e.g. Britain, Dutch etc.
Another thing I wanted to do is make ages last around the same time so the player can enjoy each one of them. I will continue to strive for historical accuracy and interesting gameplay.
Only 1550 so far. Curious about late game.
What made you bring Institutions forward?
I had it on my list of decisions but it never goes away so every country keeps spamming it.
