对玩家来说,这个模组是修复游戏内语音功能的,打了这个MOD后才能使得游戏内的语音聊天正常工作。虽然目前游戏内语音还有一些问题,偶尔会失灵互相听不见对方说话且会出现语音串频道的现象,但是情况已经改善很多了,打了MOD后游戏语音算得上是勉强能用的水平,游戏里长按大写键开始语音说话。

4.The issue of chaotic voice channels still exists. For example, sometimes when you speak in the squad channel, your voice can be heard in the team channel and the public channel. I'm not sure if this issue can be fixed.

5.(I'm not entirely sure about this) When the voice repair mod works properly, your voice can be transmitted, but not all players can hear it.

6.(I'm not entirely sure about this) Meanwhile, players who can hear your voice may experience intermittent sound, sometimes hearing it and sometimes not, but the majority of the time, they can hear it. I'm not sure if this issue can be fixed.

In summary, these are my experiences using this mod over the past one to two months. Overall, this is a very excellent mod. I personally believe that if further improvements can be made, this mod has the potential to completely fix the voice issues in RS2. You have done crucial work for RS2, and I truly appreciate your efforts.

3.A summary regarding voice repair issues: When "RS2 is using the microphone" is displayed in the player's computer settings, it indicates that the player's voice can be transmitted. This is a piece of experience I have summarized.

Additionally, after installing the mod, sometimes when entering the game, "RS2 is using the microphone" is not displayed in the microphone call record. At this time, speaking will not cause the voice indicator in the game to move, and the player's voice will not be transmitted. I hope that the mod can be improved to allow RS2 to consistently access the microphone, ensuring complete repair of basic microphone communication.

Here is a usage feedback on the MX server from China:

(Our servers have all installed this mod, and this feedback is solely based on my personal experience using in the MX server and does not represent the views of the entire MX server)

1.The mod works very well, and "Configure Microphone" is available in most cases. Although there are still occasional issues where "Configure Microphone" is not available upon entering the game, the mod works most of the time and this small issue does not affect normal use.

2.The issue of voice not working still persists, but after installing the mod, there is a significant improvement. The probability of voice working normally has increased significantly after installing the mod.

this is so when u disconnect from a server you clear all VOIP, which means u wont hear anyone from the past server and they wont hear you when you join a new one

So,players only need to do two things:
Change the setting only once unless you want to change your input.
Then input the code evety time when start the game or change roengine's local options by one time.
Then can enjoy this mod,right?

go to roengine and add ?mutator=voipmutator.voip to local options

Unfortunately, _C0rt3x_, it was implemented due to the decision to retroactively make Rising Storm 2 and Killing Floor 2 Epic Games Store-compatible, much like future Tripwire products that use Unreal Engine 4 and up.

And the implementation of Vivox was non-seamless. At least this mutator exists to mitigate most of the common symptoms of it when subscribed to and run.

It does that for you through the mutator's function, Bonbon. Most importantly, it allows for non-zero Microphone device indexes (e.g. if there are multiple enabled ones) to be persisted as a chosen setting, even after multiple game launches. This was not easily or at all possible before without either setting ROEngine.ini to Read-Only, or disabling all other inputs in Windows.

Now, neither need to be resorted to. If the devices change in Windows, simply run the mutator again to re-specify the intended device.
