me and my buddy were playing and he has an infinite free hit attack with his grab, just spam and it's an easy win, even if you burst out of it he can easily re grab

Could use a resprite and a bit more popularity (so that I can actually use it) but aside from that it's alot of fun and an accurate definition of everyone's favorite hoonter

His moves stance moves are less than 10 frames, allowing him to control turn length unfairly. Wait is 10 frames for a reason

Thanks for your feedback! It's true the playtesting before I published this was not nearly enough in hindsight, but I'll definitely take your thoughts into consideration when working on the first balance update that should hopefully be out soon.

I understand that limited mobility is part of the design, but not having the reach to combo makes doing combos hard, also di ing makes combos impossible since this guy can't keep up with his own knockback.

general complaints
quick slash seems to launch but very little(?)
Up slash doesnt launch
Double slash does crazy damage and isnt affected much by di
literally 2 air normals
blunderbuss is ACTUALLY UNBLOCKABLE, not yomi hustle unblockable

I hope you can use some of my ranting to improve this character

cane stance is nice, but you basically can only use the cane once per stance change for some reason, though you can combo out of it which is nice

Blunderbuss looks real small and is real fast and somehow manages to stuff any and all aerial approach that isnt a projectile

executioner's glove takes 40 frames to complete, that's way too long.

and for the supers

Old hunter bone is ok, I guess
but visceral attack has a really short range, making it a grab that dashes or something like Great Split Vertical(see Red Mist) would be very helpful

-despite having really stubby moves, Hunter isn't fast, their run really isnt that good at all and combined with the normals, combos are real hard to do

Now for the specials
All the specials also have bad range, every single one of them.
they all do stupid amounts of damage, but it feels like being forced to land bad moves in order to win and it doesnt feel good.

-All normals are have hardly any reach. Ninja, the resident rushdown character has moves like slide kick and Dropkick that have good reach that have their own downsides. It would be good to give the base normals better reach, and the transformed normals even better reach

- the normals arent really worth their frames either, charge attack isnt worth landing with 18 frames of startup and the transformed low slash trades 13 frames for not much reach
