I see the swimming one is the Northern one :D I'm running around a bit, but I am not falling through at any spot. If you could join my discord and show me where exactly it happens, that would help a lot!

@Nifter71 Thank you! And I agree with the lack of caves ^^

I'm aware of the rain in Magpie Nest, I have tried to solve this a few times now, but for some reason the solution I used for all the other ones and works for those, does not work at that particular spot. I haven't given up on it, but I'm also not breaking my head over it.

For Groendiep, I need to login and check. Which entrance would it be? The teleporting one or the one that forces you to swim? I do have to mention that someone had an issue with falling through the map before (this was at Magpie Nest), but in the end it turned out to be a problem caused by a different mod. I don't blame them for assuming it was in my mod, because none of the other mods seemed to touch the map, but somehow one of them affected collision and that ended up creating a gap where it shouldn't be. No idea how, but it happened :D

Hi there! I've been really enjoying building in these caves! Love the darkness, and the different colour schemes! I And although I rarely choose to build on flat ground outside, it's very welcome inside a cave... Magpie's Nest, Groendiep, the Myd, and Exile's Rest have been my favourites so far! I particularly like those with water pools, as it adds to the vibe, and makes sense as s place to settle!

Two issues to report:

In the last big cave in Magpie's Nest (M8 /N8) - the deepest one - the rain is coming through the roof..

Also, the northern entrance to Groendiep is bugged, and you can fall through the rocks. I think you may already be aware of this? A workaround I used was to put in my own foundations to fill in the gap.

Anyway, thanks again for making these. There's a criminal shortage of cave spaces in the base game that you can build in. I'll always welcome more!

@MTBear: It's literally in the description: "This mod is not compatible with AoC."

You could always try it, what works works, but I'm not gonna try to be compatible with AoC.

I will try to get that for you. I will add that if you are moving fast enough you won't fall through that seam. I'm not using any map mods either.

I just went to vanilla + Caves and ran over the spot in every direction possible, but nothing happens. I really would love to see how it looks and what happens.

Love the mod and the concept. I did notice that just outside the entrance of the magpie cave there is a seam or gap that I keep falling through.

@Drade, glad you figured it out. It is impossible to take every other map into account, but often it can be solved by changing the mod order. If you end up with an entrance blocked, the cave should still be there and you can put a teleportation point at the entrance and in the cave if you still want that cave to be available.

Seems to block the entrance of the falls cavern with the Grim Map, "the cavern of sorrow". Basically, it "rebuild" the stone wall but keep the cavern, so it become inacessible

I love it! I never liked the Tier I sandstone build set so I don't like to use it...but I DO need somewhere in the noob river area to build all the zillions of crafting tables required and Exile's Rest very much fits the bill. My only complaint is I believe the floor and the ceiling should be swapped (floor should be flatter, ceiling should be rougher) and the runty demon things that spawn above the cave are very distracting (but that is not at all your fault of course).

If you want AoC to have priority over the caves, than you need to put the caves before AoC. If yu want the caves to have priority, you put them after AoC.

Since AoC has a lot of story and all too, my suggestion is the first one, let AoC take priority and see what is left of the caves.

@Fikus: to my own knowledge, it won't be compatible with AoC, I didn't try to be either, but I haven't tested it, so it might be possible that it works or maybe a few of the caves work.

@keauny, I don't know about Tir, it's impossible to test this with all maps. If I can rely on Neko's reply here, it works, but the entrances are hidden by textures because Tir overwrites my changes. You can try it, change the maporder, see if that helps or put adminteleports at the entrance to teleport in the caves.

@Neko, I can not take into account what every other mapmod overwrites. If camplevel 32 isn't touched, the caves will exists, and the admin can make teleports into the caves at he locations where the texture is not opened up. The texture is editted at the map itself, so if another mod overwrites what I did, it is impossible to have that work anyway. The only thing you can try is change the map order, put my map after the map that overwrites the textures and see if everything works.

A wonderful mod, but small improvements are needed for The_Isle_of_Tir-na-nOg map - the outputs are hidden by textures

Adeshark, I'm currently waiting till someone with more experience is able to help me fix the current situation of not being able to build in The Myd, I'll ask them about the best approach for that too. I am however dependent in this case and I don't know how long it will take.

Hi! Thank you so much for the mod. I always wanted to try making a cave home, now I can finally do it!

I was wondering if the caves have fluctuating insulation around the area?
I made a camp inside the Myd but when sandstorm hits I wasn't fully protected from it.

Some parts of the caves only have 20% insulation so I had to go into the corners to be safe.
Is it possible to make the whole cave safe from sandstorms?

What about Ruins of Acheron, Sunken Citadel and Lost Lore Of the Exiles? I've those installed alongside the other two and Skulls'n'Roses A Pirates Tale by Woodey? :)

It's compatible at least with Riverboats and Barachan Isles. I placed it in between those, RIverboats, Caves and then Isles. I think it should be compatible with other mods from Snowhunter too, but I haven't tested that. My mod should go above the mods that alter the cursed wall like Barachan Isles.

great mod, tho my recommendation is that the shimmering cave has some weird lighting that makes it kinda unbearable to build in because it feels like your character is drunk

Very pleasant changes, the cave at 8M is perfect for a small camp of my elves, I trust that I can easily build it without fear of loss. well done.

Wouldn't be much of an issue if Nitrado's web services weren't as unstable as a reality TV star. Been trying to get into my server's interface all day to update the mod and it's been less reliable than a car salesman or politician. :steamhappy:

@Rae I couldn't test it besides on a server because single player would not show the problem, so I needed the file running. Now this was an issue that NEEDED to be resolved, I stressed quite a bit about it, also nothing seemed to work, hence all the live updates yesterday. Besides fixes, I'm done with the caves for a while. Sorry that this happened.

I like your mod but you update it way too often. You need something like a testing version where you can trial and error any issues before pushing to the live version. I appreciate that you're making the effort to resolve issues, but I had to remove it because I get a barrage of abuse at 3am because someone died and can't log back in due to mod updates. Lol.
