All it does is show how "intense" the gameplay is.
the bar is red when there's a horde on your ass. But you would be too preoccupied with surviving than to look at the red bar.

It also shows when the director makes the gameplay ease up. Which you could also easily tell by there not being any infected anymore.

It really doesn't do anything that can help you, but loads of people use it because "its cool and hidden"

I wish i could tell you. Because neither of these mods have any files in common, and i'm using them together all the time.

i am using that same hud mod in these images. As you can see by the health items and throwable icon. And that mod couldn't even do something like that if it tried.

The chainsaw's fuel meter seems to be broken in this mod. It does not drain while using the weapon

This modifies hudlayout.res.
It will conflict with everything that also modifies hudlayout.res.
