Some sort specific animal graphic in the background would be kool. Some kind of image showing the animal you are making a choice on would be awesome.

Add Giraffes, especially since one of the events in the Hold Court Decision revolves around someone from East Africa coming to your court and gifting you a Giraffe. (With none of the aforementioned gold and jewels added to your personnel wealth or Empire's treasury.)

Ur probably not looking for more ideas on animals to add but I figured I'd throw some onto the pile anyway based on animals u can technically have as pets from events, but the only thing it does is give you prestige or dread for 10 years and shit.

does this work with AGOT? im not sure if AGOT modifies pet files so I can't figure out if it'll be compatible

@CanadianBaconism I cannot reproduce this issue, do you have any more info you can give me? e.g. do you have the latest version of the mod? What animal do you ask them to search for? Are you in a war? etc.

I am encountering an issue where I can just keep sending my keeper of the menagerie out to look for animals but they never come back. Also I can continually enact the decision without cooldown

@DrakeSteele I don't have that DLC, but imo it makes sense that a landless character can't have a menagerie! Atm it's locked behind being landed, so I guess that would affect adventurers as well

Updated! Sorry for the wait, I've been hospitalized and health-stuff has had to take prio. But I've run throught he game a bit and updated any issues I found, added Polish, and moved the button to the bottom of the screen.

Let me know if you encounter any specific issues and I'll try to investigate them, this was just a first sweeping pass to unbreak things.

How much to update? I'm a retiring private sector K9 officer and I gravitate towards anything/anywhere I can have my dogs with me, digital or otherwise.

I’m sure he will when he has the time to. Modders do this in their free time, you don’t know his life and what’s going on. If he hasn’t updated it’s because he does t have the time or has stepped away from the game.

When acquiring new pets, I am encountering a bugged version of, specifically, the 'cat' naming event, that restarts each time it is 'completed'. It isn't every time, but it's often enough to be a problem.

The interface clashes with the new government type (administrative), the pets icon overlaps with it

Because it hasn't been updated in a few months? It didn't need an update for 1.15 (was working for me, at least), so there was no reason for the author to have to update it then. The last DLC doesn't really interest me, so haven't played 1.16 to know if it needs one or not. But if it does, you need to understand that modders do it in their spare time. For all any of us know, heptopus could be a college student and guess what's going on right now for most of them. Finals and end of year exams! And if he's not, he could have any number of other reasons.

I'm currently playing the game with non-conflicting mods, a compatible game version, and I keep trying to get my keeper of the menagerie to search for a fox, but every single time he brings me back a parrot. Please note that he has an excellent proficiency, and I'm playing in Ireland.

Wish there was a version of this for LoTR: RiE, I think it might work as is, but the icon overlaps the smithing icon, and ill bet there are more animals that could be added. Regardless, in other plays I love this mod! TY

Hello, since 1.14.2.2 (polish langauage added to CK3) i met problems with "pets expanded" mode, instead english texts there are now code context lines... and also menus related to the mode looks infected..., would you be so kind and help/fix ?

Ok, good to know. Are you playing with any other mods active? The vanilla game is spamming a lot of errors atm, so it's hard to search for the cause, but I'll make another attempt to pin it down!

It's on both new and older save.
I had 4 animals a couple days ago, two of them had no name in the Menagerie and couldn't be clicked. I deactivated the mod to prevent it causing massive issues.

This has been an issue even before RTP, just in case you're wondering.
I really love the idea of this mod but some pets being nameless and not interactable are really breaking this experience for me.

With the new update the siege events should no longer trigger twice, and I've updated non-english loc to be up to date with all the new strings etc., so no more weird code should show!

@Lera, is the interface buggy even if you start a new game, or are you playing an older save? Other mods?

Your mod is still buggy as hell, animals in the Menagerie can't be clicked and don't show with names etc. I do not recommend downloading this until the bug is fixed
