Have you had any such issue ? Or was it perfectly working even with double size (4x resolution)
The first thing I thought of was a book series, too lol. This could totally be used to make a Red Mars (of the Mars trilogy novels) mod since it has so many great stories and perspectives that take place over hundreds of years, starting at the early settlement of Mars for the purpose of terraforming the planet. Factions arise from differences in social/ecological ideals and Mars goes through some seriously seismic changes due to it. Lots of choices to be utilized for game mechanics!
Def not as dystopian as Red Rising sounds. Kinda more hard sci-fi, I guess. But I mean, Earth is always at least in the background in Red Mars as it dies quicker every day from overpopulation, war and climate change. Because, of course!
Anyway, both would make dope games!
btw, never heard of Red Rising before. Gonna pick it up. Thanks for the rec!
Star Wars.
Mass Effect.
40k (or 30k)
So many possibilities.
One can use terrain modifiers for troops to simulate ground and space combats where Men-at-Arms are the Navies and Levies are the ground troops.
