Just one slightly odd thing: I mastered Warlock and Summoner, but for whatever reason they didn't pop their Steam Achievements. Really minor and I'm not too worried but thought I'd mention it just in case it's this (it might not be).
Regardless, fabulous work.
If Phoenix doesn't want me to post it in the comments i'll happily delete it.
I think your effort and ideas are good. but your purposeful act of being misleading and click baity is terrible.
Why do so many abilities scale off so many stats? Why are my cleric's spells scaling off her Attack stat? That's bizarre to me, and it makes weapon choice a little uncomfortable.
Again, you've done a lot of work here and I think that's awesome, but it doesn't work for me personally. Thanks though.
great job!
Crystal Edit, the modding software we all use, is bundled with the game in your directory. Delete the weapon restrictions for each skill and then save. Move the saved json file into your saved games folder as directed on the ModDB page and enable your tweaked mod.
And no, mods do not disable achievements afaik.
Also I'm trying out the modding tool, seems pretty interesting, maybe I can try out tweaks of my own and test them on the go before I come up with suggestions or smth.
On a side note, are the higher tier magic spells from Wizard restricted to magic weapons? Not an issue but I wanted to make sure that's how it works.
But the temp scroll thing *does* give me an idea I might build into the Ninja's kit. Gotta think about it more.
If I were to add a description to Shank that says "Can only be used with Daggers" that would fix your problem but then I'd need to standardize that. And I can't think of any other basic attacks that would need that standard. Warriors can use all weapons, Monk can ONLY use Staff and Fist so you wouldn't ever need to guess why your basic attack isn't working. Warlock can use more than a Rapier but you wouldn't have the belief that you could do a Flicker Strike with a Wand. So it would be clumsy for me to add a desc there too. It doesn't seem like the right choice to me.
So what I CAN do for you instead is rework *Shank* into a basic attack that can also be used with a Rapier. But my major question for you is if you REALLY think I should. Would you find more fun/build variety if I made that change?
