The cow skeleton pieces + the clock icon feel like extra details that make no coherent sense with the rest of the effect.
With the second issue being that the effects make the entire weapon get a completely different identity. Getting this on any warpaint besides something very basic and barebone, would look really out of place
Imo, cut the clock, cut the cow skeleton, and keep the rest
Then again, this is an unusual effect for a weapon, so its all g
But great work!
I feel like you two would do relatively well in the CS workshop scene, and would maybe be a more proper place to make skins that incorporate your guys' fairly obvious affinity for gothic/spooky/macabre stuff.
Hopefully when valve adds this beauty to the game, it will not be all fucked up looking.
I wish we can see more of these's unique war paints in the near future!
You did a kick ass job Crowdough, I think a flesh warpaint that pulsates would be kick ass to see next!
It looks good don't get me wrong, but this feels more like a fortnite skin than a tf2 one. I dont mean that in a bad way mind you, its just that it would feel really out of place in a game like tf2. Honestly if only the textures were static this would look really cool in game
This is a skin, and functions similarly to dragon slayer. Its not about quality control, its about the fact it would take special code to implement, and possibly a whole new war paint skin case system. Skins have also not been added in many years.
And while the animated aspect is a very unique visual for a warpaint, the slight glow effect you've given to the colour and the effect used right at the front could easily be mistaken for the critical hit effect, especially since you've team-coloured it.
It might not look bad in a standalone area, but during the middle of a chaotic fight with multiple players, people are gonna be confused, and possibly afraid to approach you out of fear of being deleted right away. Unless that was intentional in which case I do find that funny. Very unfair, but funny.
But I really don't think that it'll fit well with TF2 both in its visuals, as well as during the gameplay.
