I am also getting the nullrefs spam, seems like spacecraft of some kind when this mod is active is causing it. big thanks for the work on this, great additions

idk if this is a nebulous side issue but i got a lot of NullReferenceExceptions when I equiped 5 of the modded beam turrets on a vauxhall

if you update the MK82, I suggest auto loader of 4 with a cycle rate of 1.67. it's not too much stronger while keep MK81 and MK82 synced in salvo.

Unsure why, but playing with fighters and this mod seems to throw nullrefs. Something to do with a FCS. Was tested with just this mod loaded. If i can be of any more help let me know. Love the mod btw

@Dragonbender09 the frosts armor is just a little thicker then the keystone and has WAY more slope to it which is more important. The slop makes the armor effectively about 30-40% thicker then stated. For real world context, look up the soviet T-34 tank from WW2.

First thing, LOVE the mod. Fills out the base game very nicely. Food for though: the Mk 580 Beam turret. C4 mount, so same size as Mk590, but it one 370(150cm/s/250hp/s), and mounted on oversize traverse(20 deg/sec)/elevation(25 deg/sec) motors with better ele limits(+60deg, -15deg) and an over charged capacitors for a fast recharge time, around 25-30sec. Would be meant to give a cap ship a better ability to engage picket frigates/corvettes while also staying with a beam for weapon support modules. Ascetically, to fit in with it having wider engagement arcs, mount the emitter slightly higher up. Think scorpion tank turret from Halo or the Ocelot from Prisim Aero mod, but a beam.

From testing i noticed the Frosts are unusually resistant to guns both HE and AP, do you think theres a problem with its model?

The mk590 is capable of destroying exactly one component on the Solomon: The bottom C5 mount.

@kes the mk590 is actually worse than the mk610, as it is a triple-barrel mk570, it's benefits are only reaped against lighter ships. I've found out through testing that the mk590 is almost completely useless against battleships, unless plasma drivers are used (an obvious problem).

the mk590 seems to be wildly unbalanced right now, especially compared to the mk610 - it looks like you took the mk570 stats and multiplied them by three but never checked them against the mk610, so the mk590 has about 300 more cm of armor pen, and 450 more damage per second while *also* being smaller and require less power

I'd love to use this mod more but this balance issue is pretty immense

Also if it's not in development already, I think it would be awesome if the OSP light cruiser was basically the pre-spinal version of the keystone or find some other way to implement that, I think that's the only ship that is mentioned in lore but not available in game

You folks think there's any way to add an ANS version of the ocello? Also now that the large slot damage control has been added for the OSP I think some internal modules in that vain would be awesome, some more combined damage control options for various spaces

The new ships are very nice (the only problem is trying to fit 160 missiles into a 3,000 point ship!) but they don't suffer armour-shredding effects when hit by HEKP missiles.

@RZU147 it has more drive slots so you can make it almost as fast as a axford if you build it for that so its actually pretty well balanced

The ships need propulsion and maneuvering sound effects like all vanilla ships. And the typhoon class is so awesome. It would be even better if the typhoon class looks even more "stealthy." Also, any plan to give osp anti-ship ballistic missiles?

Hm, very nice start with the Constantine. Between this, Screamer's Scrap and Salvage, and The Free Traders, its getting to be a pretty well fleshed-out roster for the vanilla factions.

I could see the Raines and Ocello both playing either side too, since they're older ships. Just missing a new paint job too, so less effort than most.

Otherwise, seems pretty solid. Especially looking forward to the missile and light cruisers, since CLs are my favourite ship class and, as much as I love the Vauxhall, it's only one ship...
