There is a problem with recruiting... When you update the building (in my case wood elfs) you lost ability to recruit units from firs lvl of that building. Did you know you must set recruting for all levels of building, from firs to last ?

It was interesting to see in my Empire campaign a horde of Skaven pouring over the grey mountains with Bretonnian Men-at-arms and swordmen scattered among their ranks.

amazing mod and just what i am looking for a couple questions:

1) does this work for the old world campaign map?
2) so right after you conquer a settlement you can recruit enemy units or do you have to defeat the entire settlement?

Ok, I might have found a workaround (sort of) for the bug with Karak Eight Peaks. Download the console command mod and give ownership of the settlement to you on turn 1. Never lose the settlement and you should be able to build buildings in it like in any other settlement.

Also got the bug where Karak Eight Peaks Main building is replaced with the foreign recruitment one. Can't replace it with the actual main building in any way.

I love this mod. Just encountered 2 maybe bugs.
As mentioned below if i upgrade the recruitment building i lose access to the lover tier units.
And in any single tile settlement gates in ultham and keeps in empire it gives all factions best unites as garrison.

I really like these types of mods, but I wonder, is it intended that you can only recruit the units from the specific building tier? For example in Skeggi, if I upgrade the Norsca building to t3, I can recruit Chaos Dragons, Mammoths and Giants but no Marauders or anything from tiers 1 and 2. It makes for some interesting choices, but it's very unusual so I wonder if that's the original intent.

What ? it meshes only on the flavor side, what do you mean. Like, having undead, chaos or skaven enclaves as empire would definitely cause local corruption, thats the whole point

I don't see how you're gonna justify chaos corruption on non-chaos faction... outposts, enclaves, IDR what they were called. Like, flavor wise, it doesn't mesh.

Also, depending on tier you loose the recruitement of some units, with wood elves you made it so one single building gives access to all, I think it would be better if it was a single building for all factions, you also should remove either the ressource production or the flat tarifs bonuses. Maybe adding corruption for balance would be cool and thematic, but a big modifier to make it impactful.. like 20 ?

So, it happened with dwarves for karak eight peaks where the ai orks had the settlement with just that. I use the settelement slot mod, maybe its that? I also have the issue with wood elves where carroburg got transformed the same by the black pit tribe, once again by the orcs. Got the bug 2-3 times and its always after interacting with greenskin, something with razing or building the settlement back up maybe ?

@lulu who are you playing as and do you control the settlement or does the AI? I’ve run into a few strange things like this but can’t pinpoint how they happen.

It works well for me, I think it fucked up karak eight peaks though, there is no working settlement, just that building inside

Awesome mod and really love the idea, I used to play with Peacehammer awhile ago an this is what I always felt was missing to balance things out. With your permission I'd love to make a submod including modded units from all different types of mods. Now if only the building unlocked the normal Lords for those factions too.

The mod is nice and all, but wouldn't it be better to further balance it by limiting which units are available from the auxiliary barracks? Being able to recruit practically all the Dwarf units from a tier 3 building while also getting resources from it feels WAAAY too OP.

Maybe limit units down to tier2 max with maybe a handful of tier 3.

Im not sure if this was asked but every time I start a campain Karak Eight Peaks's main building is replaced with "Foreign Recruitment" building and got only 2 slots for building up to lvl.2
Anyone knows how to fix that one ?

Great mod, however forts and Ulthuan gates end up having pretty units from all races in their garrisons (at the same time).

Honkihonk, there can be a problem with mod order. Try to change it or use Kaedrin's mod manager. I had a similar problem with Peacehammer yesterday.

It partially works but not always, for example as the Empire, Ostermark more specifically i can build the Foreign Recruitment building in the Gryphon Wood but it has no units for it to recruit.

Haven't been able to test the mod since the update so honestly I'm not sure. Not every single settlement has the option though. Mostly just major settlements around the map.
