Bug has been fixed as of Stellaris Patch 3.11, this mod is no longer needed.

Thank you for fixing this! To bad it doesn't work with Ironman. I really find it frustrating that they won't fix this easy thing. It's been bugging me for ages.

Given how easy this was to do they'll probably fix it next patch, this is just to fill things in until then.

During the most recent AMA on Reddit I actually posted about this bug and the other bug that causes the animations for Starbases and Orbital Rings to reset at the start at every month and included links to bug reports, the QA Lead said that they would look into it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

I understand that but my aim is to make the "fix" file still be functionally and structurally identical to the vanilla file hence why I opted to override, I'll add a note to the description to have this mod at the very top of the load order.

hehe weird that we need mod for this as fix is easy. do gonna add it to my list.

I looked at your file and for comparability reason I would suggest to rename file if possible from 00_weapons_planet_killer to cf_weapons_planet_killer or something like that so does not override original file when loading and inside the file only have code that you changed. assuming you only changed cracker part keep that entire thing in there and remove everything else.

this way it only override what is needed keeps the rest original. even if paradox or other mod adds more weapons to the file yours would still works when you place your mod last with out removing everything else loaded before.

just a suggestion its your mod but would make it lot easier :)

It was actually laughably easy, the bug is literally just one line of code, I'm not sure how the devs keep missing it but hopefully they get it next update and this mod will no longer be needed.
