Seems to work fine in 1.6.
Shreds test pawns more with it enabled than just vanilla CE (rumored to be compatible).

With Combat Extended being updated to 1.6 will this mod also get updated? I've already seen that it already works with 1.6 but seeing the stupid warning saying its outdated is annoying.

There's a CE logo in the corner of the thumbnail and CE mentioned in the description twice. It's CE compatible.

no update neccessary, it seems to work just fine in 1.5. probably because this mod is just a single patch file that patches 2 damage numbers.

sometimes breaking walls and furniture will send out fragments, makes me too much of a wuss to try this. very cool though

fragmentation is very easy to stop irl. easier to stop than most pistol bullets and i don't intend to make frag goggles and such obsolete.

I think one of the problems makes them less effective is the AP, both fragment types have very low AP, can't even penetrate some basic soft armor
