@Luck_88101 I didn't notice that. Is anyone else using the mod experiencing countries not forming power blocs? Or can you confirm that they are forming them in your games?

@Grave Check the traits of the leader, the powerful interest groups in government, and the latter's IG leader traits. That affects willingness to go to war in my mod. Intelligentsia is less war and armed forces is more as an example.

have tested over multiple runs and i feel that nations with expand territory focus sometimes dont do anything at all even being unfriendly with all nations around them. Zulu as an example where they will sit there the entire campagin without doing anyhing even Orange and Transvaal kill eachoder where their armies have bleed out and can easily be overthrown.

This is now updated to 1.7.4! The Rising Power AI strategy is disabled for now as it doesn't seem to be working, but I've adjusted the Expand Territory strategy to compensate. Please provide feedback so I can better balance this.

@Prince_of_Persia The AI is really not aggressive at all, even with aggression turned up. The map will basically look the exact same in 1936 as it did in 1836. I played with your mod in 1.7 and it worked fine, but I think that it makes great powers intervene way too much in affairs that really don't concern them.

@worldstar The ai is building armies now, but it's tanking it's economy to do so. This should be fixed next week. Once they do that and the build is stable then I can start working on updating the mod.

@Prince_of_Persia The main issue rn is the AI not building armies, which makes it hard to tell how aggressive they are. They seem to be much more aggressive later game than early, which I think is due to the some stuff regarding the pan-nationalism tech in what infamy they think is unacceptable.

I found meshing the current files for this mod with the new game files to be a bit tricky since the mod overwrites major files that have had huge updates w/ the power blocs and stuff, but when I managed to do it it seemed to work alright. Still, it was hard to tell with the AI still refusing to build armies.

Hey everyone. I have a lot of mods to update and this one is a little harder as I have to play the game a bunch to get a feel of how aggressive or not the ai is now. If people could let me know how the AI is acting compared to vanilla that would help out a lot.

@prince_of_persia So in the current version the ai often just declares war on nations who are thousands of kilometres away like the grand ottoman invasion of the netherlands or mexico .Currently the ai attacks any nation which it sees fit how ever far it is so theres maaany goofy wars which are impossible and they dont even include the new 1.6 for who will join. My suggestion is the ai should value proximinity the 1.6 menu their offense defense values so theres no more death sentence wars and if it will be going far away it should see if its navy can handle the invasion as currently i think in every game the ottomans invade netherlands belgium sweden or and get coalitioned and just ruin their chance at tanzimat and thats just one example. If the ai would evaluate the navy size, who would be likely to join, proximity and how easy it would be to reach the nation we could see a universe where the ottomans dont go for a nation like jabbal shammar instead of netherlands.

Also I've had the AI declare unwinnable wars against me a few times now, for example declaring war with a coalition of like 400 battalions against me and my allies 1000+

This mod is amazing because the AI will actually conquer stuff, but I feel like they can be a bit TOO agressive. For example, currently playing as Japan, I hold panama. I have a defensive pact with mexico and they are a member of my customs union, yet their attitude has flipped to belligerent because they want to conquer panama. I think its pretty unreasonable that a minor power which depends on me both economically and for protection from the US would become hostile and try to seize panama from me, a state which they don't even border. Just one example

Ok so I played it with VTM but the ai doesnt do whats intended in this mod but whats intended in VTM so the map is stale, maybe make it that rising powers overwrites vtm or something
