What SilverWolf said.

Really great mod, but I just can't use it with how many of the outfits aren't properly sized to the body. I'd go so far as to say it's the vast majority of outfits that have this issue.
Scr(A)tch 6 Oct @ 3:06pm
@Dnaks: because it creates new portraits sets, instead of replacing existing ones. It's as simple as that.
@Chickenboy: to make an Ironman version, you need to replace existing portaits sets files, like human and human classic, with yours. You can still edit display names so it's transparent for the user. The common folder must remain empty (as well as events, but it's already the case). On the other hand, you can edit prescipted species so that UNE and COM have their intended portait sets.
Dnaks 3 Oct @ 6:22pm
why does this change the checksum?
Josito 26 Sep @ 5:23pm
Am I the only one getting pops with very little variety of outfits and incorrect ones?
Chickenboy  [author] 28 Aug @ 2:13pm
Whoops, I changed the order of clothing which may have changed ruler clothing as a result.

I've added a selector that should hopefully fix things back into the right "order", but it might not be perfect, so you may have to re-choose your ruler clothing.
At the very least, it should ensure you are able to select any type of clothing in the ruler designer.
John McCreedy 28 Aug @ 8:37am
Why did you remove the cocktail dresses? I wake up this morning and my leader is wearing an entirely different set of clothing. Now the only business dress available to women are men's suits. Unless there is a compelling reason to remove them, please put them back.
DaViper 27 Aug @ 10:58pm
Excellent. I've been running with this despite the 'triangle'. :steamhappy:

Absolutely happy to see this updated! TY.
Josito 27 Aug @ 4:14pm
Glad to see you’re still around! Thanks for everything!
Chickenboy  [author] 27 Aug @ 3:57pm
Hi all,

I've updated for Stellaris 4.0

I've had to switch out pops for pop_groups in the clothing (asset_selectors)
Unfortunately pop_groups dont tell you what job they have, so I've had to generalise clothing based on stratum rather then job.

I did fix admiral/general clothing for leaders, now correctly switches based on that leaders role.

AI will never be fine, it's just theft, or the mf doing those models should pay anyone they algorithm use material to train from. Even for something insignificant as a mod, this is problematic.
Sharks with Flare Guns 9 Aug @ 8:16am
There are some rough edges, sure, but on the whole, they look pretty good and are better than most portrait packs out there. If you're obsessively opposed to AI, sure, you won't want this, but this seems like a reasonable and promising use of the tech to me, especially with some polishing. For now, this is my go-to portrait pack, and this coming from someone used to the glories of the Stellar Legions pack.

(Side note: as a modder myself, the poster has my sympathies when it comes to the legions who demand Michelangelo while struggling with finger-painting. You're doing great, keep it up!)
RulersOfTheLands 5 Aug @ 8:09pm
they are AI and dont even look good
Khornelia 29 Jul @ 10:28am
Awful AI images

ChopSushiii 8 Jul @ 7:31pm
Dope mod, just needs to be updated a bit. I understand the use of AI, now that AI has significantly improved, you could probably do way more.
Sam Wise 4 Jun @ 11:41am
is there a way to get the Leaders without the medieval looks? I love the suits, and the tech armors are just amazing! But I'd prefer if I could pick a look where the Military leaders don't get those red/green plate armors.
Link3000XD 24 May @ 10:43am
what would i give for a human portrait mod that actually isnt made with stable diffusion. what has been done and used before the ai craze? since a firend of mine wants it so badly im forced to take this.
Ulthar 10 May @ 12:09pm
wow, please update!!
Talon 25 Apr @ 9:21am
Can you separate this mod into the phenotype selection for these portraits (i.e. European, Asian, etc.) categories on the species selection screen for the empire creator? This will make the mod even better! Thank you.
随意 13 Apr @ 1:10am
This is the best portrait mod I've ever come across, and it's simply amazing!:steamhappy:
degren 22 Feb @ 11:16pm
Honestly, this is one of the best human portrait mods I have ever seen, my only critique is that I can't exclusively play as a specific human race (i.e. nomadic space mongols XD).
Ocelot 17 Feb @ 5:19pm
i don't understand the effort of making multiple selections when they all end up looking the same with the only difference being clothing. it's a little odd, actually.
Starways System 12 Feb @ 6:22pm
AI slop.
Not Lenny 23 Jan @ 9:57am
Love the mod. I am just a bit stumped that the AI generated characters always have this medieval look in their clothing. Especially the military. You have all these high tech armor pieces and they are not being used :(
Dreamweaver 14 Jan @ 2:01am
Just download "Stellaris Checksum Patcher" off Github and use any mod with ironman/achievement compatibility.
Officer Sexy 13 Jan @ 8:41am
is there a achievment version of the mod? this mod modifiers my checksum
CordialVillain 23 Nov, 2024 @ 3:27am
Some nice work here anon. One of the very few good human packs.
DragonWings 27 Sep, 2024 @ 8:01pm
Very good mod, thank you so much for it. Would be good if it can be further updated.
Scr(A)tch 27 Aug, 2024 @ 4:23pm
Custom species classes must break Ironman. Fixing should be done in a fork where the new portraits replace existing ones.
Egoist 27 Aug, 2024 @ 3:52pm
The module is used alone and is not compatible with Iron Man. Looking forward to fixing:slimehappy:
Scr(A)tch 15 Aug, 2024 @ 9:48am
Awesome potential, just streamline the body shapes so you can have every clothes fit all of them - looking at you, left boob :)
Anton Rabe 28 Jul, 2024 @ 4:16am
@Giroro Its just stellaris mod on portraits, very good made. If you don't like it, don't touch it, don't sh*t in the comments
natholemew 11 Jul, 2024 @ 7:59am
@Chickenboy How do I edit the clothing list to expand for leader pool correctly?
I edited them and they always show up naked rather than commanders having the "police" clothing variant or the clerk set for officials
Giroro 7 Jul, 2024 @ 1:10am
It shows the limit of AI generated images , a looks bland, lifeless, emotionless. You need someoone to add a human touch to these porttraits.
Karnak 22 Jun, 2024 @ 8:52pm
This mod is amazing. The quality is really high ! Do you plan to do more ''realistic/humanoid'' portraits ? For example Elves ? (or others races maybe ? orcs, gnomes, dwarfs ?) Vanilla elves look really ugly in comparison of your humans !
Andariel Halo 15 Jun, 2024 @ 9:20am

Chickenboy  [author] 30 May, 2024 @ 2:19pm
Ok, I fixed the species category, these portraits are now under the Humanoid category

Let me know if you have any issues

Also thanks for the feedback, I do have some ideas for new clothing sets and updating the two current ones. But no promises on timings as I'm pretty busy atm.
Valhalla Awaits 30 May, 2024 @ 1:44am
No longer a functional mod.
grapS 26 May, 2024 @ 12:01am
great mod, is it going to be updated?
Kotowski 25 May, 2024 @ 9:41am
How can I make only white europeans portraits?
Cicattrix 24 May, 2024 @ 6:26am
- Neck seam on male + some female portraits needs to be fixed (priority)
- Some clothing is to small for male/female bodies

If you solve these, your mod is perfect! Its the best variant existing on the workshop for UNE and you did a wonderful work. Its what a ”modern” game of 2024 should have for its leading species. Meantime, the new portraits brought this month by Paradox are uglier than kids drawings: involution of art.
As for CoM, I would go another route, as these nice clothes are too fancy for them. And as I cant accept the lazy design of ”they are the same humans and both factions are wearing the same clothes... after 100 years”. Only Fallout 4 ”city clothes resisted for 200 years” is worst.
But, if you wanna play around, you can give us a new set, to make them distinct. After all, there is a gap of contact of 100 years, along with a mentality switch. Things that are usually reflected in the way the humans/aliens/creatures express themselves.
Cicattrix 24 May, 2024 @ 3:29am
For now the only advantage that I can see is for Selective Kinship. Before, to get its benefits (for FED/HEG same species) you needed to have all the Species Potraits into the Species Group (species_clases). Now, you can have a Humanoid to show only into the Cybernetics Categories but have Kinship with other humanoids. For that, you make a special set (portrait_sets) for that portrait (say elf_cyb), mention there that it belongs to HUM species and add that set only to Cybernetics Categories (portrait_categories). It will be considered humanoid, but you will not find it at the humanoids categories.
Cicattrix 24 May, 2024 @ 3:28am
There is no bug with the species, they just changed how the potraits system works, to add more flexibility. My guess is that they wanted some space, as tthe species were tied to portraits, but also to ships. And there was also an issue when adding new potraits into a species, as you could change the entire species graphical_culture or other setting such this.
Now, you can add potraits more easy What is new is that the Portraits are now arranged into UI by CATEGORIES instead of ”Species” and into these Categories you add SETS of portraits. This way, when they come with new potraits for humanoids, for example, they just make a new set. Like they did with the cybernetics, which have their own Categories, but are shown into their Species Categories also.
Chickenboy  [author] 19 May, 2024 @ 4:54pm
In other news, I'll have a look at fixing this sometimes this week as I don't think the Devs have fixed incompatible species yet :steamsad:
Chickenboy  [author] 19 May, 2024 @ 4:53pm
@Ratzfatz Sure, feel free, thanks for asking
Ratzfatz 19 May, 2024 @ 4:30pm
Hi, I wanted to ask if I can use elements of your mod, only the clothes, to expand my own mod "More New Human Clothes". I would of course properly honor you in the credits.
Bunny Shake 15 May, 2024 @ 12:13pm
Wow this looks amazing. Eagerly awaiting for an update.
Tea Earl the Grey 11 May, 2024 @ 8:22am
@ HexDoll Amazing thanks,
