SOS2 patch is not working for 1.6. Getting error everytime I try to launch a ship.

Uninstalled Holograms continuously throw errors. The error stops after Holograms installation.

I also see the issue with merchant guild. I wonder if that may be not specific to the barter system itself, but rather to any occurence of a hologram device in trade (merchant guild seems to be the only trader that would reliably have hologram devices in stock)

I can confirm that it is incompatible with medieval 2 (merchants), as the barter system probably does something at the same time this mod ticks on global defs.

This mod is incompatible with VFE - Medieval 2 (its Merchant's Guild) with just this mod, that mod and the dependencies you get a looping red error that bricks your game. Just barter with the guild and get unlucky.

This mod is THE performance hitter. Even if there are no holograms on the map it passively chews like 100+ TPS. I have a high end CPU btw. I feel like there should be much more clear of a warning about how chonky this boi is

!!!!!HARD GAMEBREAKING ISSUE!!!!!
While these holos simply do nothing without any more harm in game, the game is SOFT-FROZEN when you try to tamper with its options where YOU CANNOT EXIT THE SETTING SESSION BY ANY MEANS including ESC and CLOSE BUTTON! Nor can you open the dev log!

Is anyone else having an issue where the mod doesnt save changes to the default color? I have to change it every time I restart the game.

I got a bug in my game that is freezing a moving shuttle in place. It happened the moment I sent an odyssey shuttle back to my colony. For some reason the mod seems to be involved. Removing it fixes the issue but I'd rather have the pretty holograms.

I was using this mode well until yesterday,

Hello, I have an issue with the mod absolutely crushing performances (from 360+ TPS down to 170 max) without even building any hologram (the tech isn't researched yet on my save).
here is the log with a recurring NullReferenceException that only happens when the mod is active :

I also notice in Dubs performance analyser that "Building_ProjectorThrone DoTick" in the tab Tick Things and "EGIHologramsAndProjectors.CompProjectorPawnEffects:CompTick" in the tab Thing Comps both have super high tick rate.

I really love this mod and it would be a shame not to be able to use it.

Just to add I have a high end computer, so the issue seems to be some sort of memory leak, maybe a mod conflict as it seems like no one else has the issue ?

I’d like to report one more issue. The side view of the grand hologram throne appears to be floating above the floor. It needs to be lowered a bit. Specifically, around -0.4

Of course, it's not a problem if buttons overlap between mods, but I think the vanilla button positions should be respected.

@NEPH That is a common problem, if you play with a lot of mods, of course.
to make it short: I suggest you to use this mod:

Tech Tree Patch Framwork:

With that mod you can adjust the tech tree to your liking. You could e.g. when you start a run with a new or modified mod list, start a "Dev quicktest" and adjust there your tech tree.

Nothing to worry about. I always appreciate that people like you spending time and making effort to provide us with more free stuff we can play with. actually I am surprised that in my whole mod list more or less just one mod made trouble. every patch in rimworld is always a big transition phase with a lot changes and up and downs. thank you for your mod that makes this game so much better :steamthumbsup:.

I'm still playing on 1.5 and finally got them build, only to not have an hologram or not even able to change the visuals neither the colors. Also, if I go to the options of the mod, I can't close them then I have to restart the game cause i'm stuck.

I'm having similar error to Sanaraka as well:

'"EGIHologramsAndProjectors.CompProperties_HologramGraphics' on thing 'SmallProjector992490' from mod 'EGI Holograms and Projectors': System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'EGIHologramsAndProjectors.HologramMaterials' threw an exception. ---> ystem.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection."

The log says it again with the large and grand projector as well.

Thx for the update. But with this update I got my first red error with this mod (CE 1.5).
Is that something to be worry about?:

Once the mod gets updated, could some wall mounted projectors be in the cards? Maybe a distance gizmo to project it further away from the wall? I find myself wanting to use these in more rooms, but trying to fit a projector among the furniture or facilities while also keeping it pleasing to the eye can be challenging. It could also replace the need for wall lights in some rooms.
