@t_helgeson06 If it's not showing up in your mod options, then it's not loaded, so won't show up in the game either. Have you tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to force a download?

For some reason this isn't showing up in my game. I'm trying to plant a row of trees and the only thing that comes up is the brush tools. It shows that it is activated in skyve, but it also doesn't show up in my in game mod options page. does anyone know what my issue is?

Hi, I cannot set for example 2.5 as the distance between objects :( - must be 2 or 3. Is it possible to change it? I remember that in old BloodyPinguin's prop line tool values with x.5 etc. were avaible.

The mod can't consume FPS unless you use it, as the author said. Do not panic

@knight mannn I put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that my mods have no performance impact in normal operation.

It does not consume any FPS at all, except when you're using it, when the FPS it consumes will be up to how you use it. If you're using it to place 10 000 buildings in a row, then yes, there will be an FPS hit equivalent to rendering 10 000 manually-placed buildings.

"I heard" is not exactly a reliable source of information, and bear in mind that there are some people out there who enjoy spreading lies about mods for whatever reason.

@urarakiroshi Oh, you can also hold down the control key when entering typed values to also recognize the decimal place.

I'm intending to update with some improvements that will include the ability to type in exact amounts.

Hello Alger! first of all, thanks a lot for your works here, man! second, I've been using this mod since the other one, prop line mod, started giving me problems. You see, I've tried to do it in many ways and I don't think it can (if is allowed can tell me how, I'd be super grateful lol) but the space of the line jumps meter by meter. As a detailing player, I'd love to make lines for example at 2.05 or 2.34 or whatever, but i can't. Do you plan to tweak the mod to allow to change that?
If it can really be done, tell me how, 'cause I have no idea

@kthealtermaster Fence mode is a shortcut to automatically space and rotate items so they are continuous in a line (like a fence), and if required will overlap a final object to make sure that the line of objects EXACTLY matches the line you draw, even if it's not a clear multiple of the object size. I hope that makes sense.

@algernon yes, I know that the intersection marking tool is specially made for lines on roads and I use it for this purpose as well. however, in some cases I have complicated crisis situations, where it is necessary to supplement these lines with prop lines and draw them using the line tool, and I have a lot of problems with that. and many lines i want draw on the surfaces and not roads if u know what i mean. it doesn't work as well as its predecessor. but I believe that it will be fixed in the next update and also the function I wrote about before. decimal distance props. I thank you about a thousand times for all your work

@slavonator Yes, this is still under development. But if you want to add lines to roads, then you're probably better off using Intersection Marking Tool, which is purpose-designed for the job.

@algernon when I use fence mode and try to draw lines on the road, I have a big problem that the lines run parallel. I try different combinations and mainly, it seems as if the 90 degree angle button does not respond at all. finally, when I press various combinations several times, I manage to set it up. before this mod was part of EML and I think it worked much better, and it was more intuitive to work with. it's just a question, but please try to look at it. and maybe i do something wrong? but I still have one suggestion. it is not possible to set the distance from segments to decimal number as in the old line tool. there are assets that need to be set to a decimal number, because they don't have exactly a meter, or two, or three, if you know what I mean. for example, the old bollarsd on which the chain is mounted ( i not remember name of asset), must be set precisely so that it connects to the segments. it need be 1,2m if you know what I mean?

I'm using your line tool now. and as for the function of 90 and 180 degrees of rotation, so far I have tried it while painting a double yellow line on the road and I have quite a big problem setting the segments to be parallel to each other. not a single button responds and I still have segments parallel to each other. but when I push different combinations several times, it sometimes works in the end. will the output log file help?

- Add overlapping end item for fence mode
- Add shortcut buttons to rotate 90 and 180 degrees
- Add slider scroll wheel control: Shift key for x10, Control key for x0.1

@magicalmac This mod has nothing to do with roads or snapping. Guide to output logs here . I'd suggest that most likely you've turned off the relevant snapping options in your road tools, especially if you're using Network Anarchy.

for 2 or 3 days now I've been having a problem with new roads not snapping properly to nodes on existing roads, as well as new roads not snapping to 90 or 180 degrees when trying to place them. Is this a bug anyone else is having? This is the only mod I can think of that would be causing this problem. And I don't know what an output log is or where to find it

Ive noticed just recently that since switching to this tool vs the prop line tool that was part of prop anarchy / eml that when placing down props that have random variants (for example rail container car packs where there are like 5 different variants built into the same prop) I now only get one variant when using the line tool, vs a random mix like before.

Is this a user error on my part? This seems to also be true in IMT when using these same variable or random props. Would love to utilize the power of random prop variants again. Thanks so much!

@femboy shiro -- From the very second paragraph in the above mod description:

NOT compatible with Extended Managers Library and Prop Anarchy; this is part of a suite of lightweight alternatives to those mods and is incompatible with the way they patch the game.
