If possible, could you make UN peacekeeper ragdolls, West German ragdolls, and ragdolls for like, Sweden and stuff.

I am still trying to edit the script to fix the stuttering caused by colored blood. The Paint() function I originally used consumes less resources than the PaintRGBA() function, but the latter is necessary to achieve colored blood.

The complete death of an NPC (including the disappearance of the UI) is intentional. The condition for this determination is that the NPC's health reaches 0 and it can no longer be resurrected. In this case, to avoid unnecessary resource usage, the script will be terminated directly to reduce lag.

@GLaDOS ok so all problems with this update:
blood is way laggier than it was, you cant even spawn more than a few npcs without the blood getting so laggy that you need to restart

after npcs die they cant be brought back to life after around 30 seconds or so (and you cant view their health stats either)

npcs dont drown anymore or lose oxygen

a lot of the new npcs just fall over (not a script issue)

ive had to disable blood just to use the npcs without crashing my pc, when before it wasnt really an issue

awesome can you also make more armed soldiers with a either a rifle or a gun ? understand if you dont want to (modding is hard i have tried it) but great mod!

During the testing process, I noticed that the 2023 version of the ragdoll sometimes does not die immediately when the head is hit. I guess this is normal (compared to the headless knight after the update). In summary, the post-settlement version will retain everything from the old version's code except for the red blood. If you notice any differences, please let me know in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, this mod might have to be rolled back several times, making it unusable (because some of the things are not saved on the computer, I can only get the workshop content by constantly rolling back versions). Everything will likely settle down within about 24 hours.

Ok guys, I have figured out where the problem was. It turned out that I mistakenly overwritten the version from the last update of 2023 with a terrible version while merging different versions of the ragdoll mods. I was basically just painfully reinventing the wheel. In fact, I only needed to replace the Paint() function used in the old version with the PaintRGBA() function and complete a few parameters.

The red blood (other than being a pile of laggy shit) also just is way too over the top in both scale (i think theres a slider for this) and too bright

I'll roll back one more time, this code is just a huge pile of shit, you can't even understand why changing the blood effect causes the first aid system to break.

another thing, the ragdolls now do not die from headshots (yet they collapse and cough because they were spawned farther than 2 inches from the ground???)
In total, the ragdolls are laggier, are extremely fragile and just fall on the ground and pretend to be hurt making it very annoying to handle them, its more difficult to heal and resurrect them (sometimes you bandage them up while they're injured and they immediately die), it takes longer for them to be healed and get up if the healing does work, and they almost always die of blood loss, even if they were shot in the head.

And the red blood is way too much its too bright and makes the npcs look so weird cause they get painted fully red with small injuries

also, before it only took a few seconds for them to get up after being bandaged up and/or resurrected, now it takes much longer. the ragdolls also seem to not be able to be healed if shot in the head, where as before you could shoot them in the head and have them stand up, which looked pretty cool imo

the new ragdolls with the red blood are extremely fragile, making handling them a nightmare without them collapsing to the floor and coughing for a good 10-20 seconds. its really quite annoying, and ill take yellow blood over this any day.

Im guessing the framework scripts were rolled back so that the blood would be red? Tbh I’d rather have grey blood and better npcs than comically bright red blood and a first gen npc system
