Full tune pulling 1:17, taking it easy, car is good for 1:10. The SC really doesn't need much tuning, had it running the N/A engine at 700hp for 1:25's (w/o extra df)
Yeah not a fan of lowered cars, they don't like Race Trace curbs and belly slide you into the wall on the Dayton banks.
This one rides nice at Daytona, had the N/A stock with stock box sitting at an constant 200mph. The SC may have a shot at the 30" lap title, no extra downforce would be used for that one, already pretty bumpy at 300mph.
Good job making the car usable.

As Downforce is increased, the car becomes more stable and less slippery.
But if the downforce is too high, the top speed will be slower and the car will push and vibrate. Cars lowered in height will also rub more on their stomachs.

In my CONFIG, Downforce is kept at a value that will not cause the car to slip in a straight line at top speed. Cornering stability is compensated for by the player's driving skill.

In my own test play, the car can lap the race track in less than 1'50" in vanilla and 1'30" in tuned conditions.

I increased config "downforce" to 7, it stops the car sliding and skating at low speeds but will still kick the back out with power when not straight, also still gets slippery when you get over 100 mph.
Sits flat through the corners, even when going sideways, amazing Race Track times just driving sensibly (as you can with 1450HP)

Thanks, the stock engine totally sucks.
