I may have made a mistake while building the previous update. It's kind of awkward to build for different versions of the game.
I uploaded a re-built version, hope that fixes it for you.

playing on rimworld 1.5 still and playing with this mod and a lot of others. The xenotype editor, before you start a run, is completely broken when playing with this mod, with numerous missing UI elements and this error i cant post all of it.

Vanilla Races Expanded - Androids seams to be incompatible in 1.5 with this mod. you can't use the android creator. and then after you exit the menu you cant use the storage menu, because you click through the window and on to what is behind it.

You should read the entire note about Achtung! in the compatibility section of Float-Sub Menus' description.
It instructs mod developers how to avoid an incompatibility with Achtung! Since I did follow those instructions, there is no conflict.
If there was a conflict with Achtung! because of the dependency, I would state it on this mod.

But… there’s literally nothing for me to translate—some of the descriptions are buried inside the DLL.

The tutorial on the wiki should have all the required information: https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Modding_Tutorials/Localization
You can make a mod that only contains the translation, and have it depend on this one. Then, when you upload it to steam, make sure to check the "tag as translation" box.
Anyone wanting to use the translation would then simply subscribe to both.

Good luck with the translation, this probably isn't the easiest to take as your first translation project.

Hey, fantastic mod, but I'm wondering if there are any known mod incompatibilities? In the potential offspring menu, I switched it to "Tagged Possible (with chance)" and now I can't seem to click on any of the buttons at all besides the tags filters (Even though it doesn't do anything). I have a lot of mods, so I'm pretty certain it's that.

Just seeing if there's a quick fix to this, otherwise I'll go through my mods and see which one is the issue.

It would be nice if, when placing a pawn in "Create for Pawn," the character's info window could be displayed on the left side of the gene window.
When adding genes like Awful or Great, I have to take a screenshot and make notes each time to remember what to insert.
It would also be helpful to view the character's info window with xenogenes removed, since existing xenogenes make it hard to predict results like passions when adding new genes.

Would be a tad overkill, but UINotIncluded allows you to fully customize the location/visibility of buttons and even group them into dropdowns. RIMMSqol also has similar options but that would be like buying a car because you wanted to listen to the radio lol

Hi, would it be possible to disable the "potential offspring" button? Maybe via Mod options? I'm using the mod to preview the effect of exogenes on pawns, and it works great at that. But I'd prefer to not have an additional button on the bottom bar. Also I have no idea what it does. Thanks for all your work! :)

Would it be possible to add access to a Bio of the pawn that the xenogerm is being made for in the gene assembler?
It would be nice to see skills specifically so that skill genes can be used effectively.

very helpful mod. however could you include ghouls as a colonist so it pulls up their germline genes? or maybe instead of creating xeno per person, you could add create for germline and it'll show all available races such as create for impid, yttakin etc.

Sorry, I'm not sure what window you are referring to by "selected genes". The one visible in the preview window is already scrollable in vanilla if you have enough banked genepacks.

Sure, I think I have a decent plan for how I could do that.

I realized I was a bit ti terse and unclear in my previous reply.
This mod alters several vanilla windows and adds 2 new ones. I think both the new ones are already resizable.
If you mean the one visible in the preview image, then I could try, but I'm not sure how well it would work. Making the window resizable is very easy, but making the contents work well with the new size is hard if it wasn't already made adaptible. Even if I get the vanilla stuff to adapt properly to the size, any other mods adding content to it are likely not to work properly with a different size.
Sorry, but there is no easy fix.

Any way of tweaking the search function so it can for genes added by a specific mod? Say if I type "Alpha Genes" it'd only filter for those coming from that mod.

is there any chance to make the window resizable or larger? Heavily modded it becomes very cramped and hard to work with
