caravans arnt registering the weight limits on the return journey. the superpod i sent cant come back with anything cause the caravan weight capacity is at 20 for some reason. launch button says the caravan is too heavy

is the Odyssey branch from github already playable?
The ultimate spaceship cannot reach its destination in an instant, although I saw in the mod settings that its speed does indeed move instantly.

Also, the ultimate spacecraft cannot enter the orbital landmark. When I click on the orbital landmark, it shows that the target is beyond range and prompts me that the spacecraft needs to load 2147484000 compound fuel to launch the transport bin to that distance

Btw why does game tret every srts ship as it were just a superpod on the worl map, superpod icon and superpod insanely slow transition?

@Nicoman .. yeah there are so many ways to be clever in Rimworld, that I forget to use them most of the time as well :)
Also I just found this :

@Nicoman i had a case where i had to save scum due to Odyssey shuttle generating its landing spot over shallow water and sinking in it. also empire shuttles landing onto shallow water next to my gravship and sinking, after that re spawning on my gravship sometimes deleting valuable stuff like grav extenders... so its not STRS exclusive

@SpaceDorf Yes. Reckoning the map by caravan is what I use to do when nothing else works. Nice tip with the drop pods. Did not thought of it. But you know how things are. You tend to keep asking yourself: Why do I have to land the ship in an adjacent tile, split the caravan, wait for the pawn to reach the destination, then draw in with the cavalry? Tedious. Wouldn't it be much more simple, if the ship had the ability to fly to the map, recon it from above, then choose a good spot, then land? Ah well, let's be curious about the next SRTS update.

One of the mods that I use all the time, hope that we can get the Odyssey compatibility soon, I really need it for transorbital transport between my support base and gravship

@Nicoman : I thought I remembered that you could select a landing spot for SRTS.
But that was only after map creation.
A little workaround is generate the map before you land.
Either send a single pawn per drop pod if close enough
Or create a caravan next to the Landing Site and have them generate the map.
Then Land your SRTS

I partially know what the reason is. I am playing alongside the mod Water Freezes . I landed on a patch, that is a frozen lake. Covered with snow. The moment I land, the ship gets deleted. I think because the frozen water is treated as if it was not frozen.
I think the problem is, that SRTS does not check, if the landing place is suitable for the ship. I can land the ship into shallow ocean water. Leading to the same result.

I wondered if you have a GitHub page somewhere. I would like to inspect, how the landing place of a ship is chosen. Had a problem with the Carary ship. It is so big, that it got destroyed on landing. One time it landed half on a mountain. The other time it landed in a deep lake.

the bombing run dosent work, i used 90mm he shells and its listed under allowed explosives (bomb runs) as 90mm_CAN... i do a bomb run and nothing?

Was having the same issue as another user further up, it's so weird that Nutrient Paste is causing problems... your work around worked perfectly. Disabling Display All Items made it work fine. Such a weird incompatibility.

How long will it take to move strs from drop pod to shuttle code?

As for now workaround for orbital trips. (Minify everything mod) load your srts onto shuttle and fly down. As soon as you enter atmosphere srts will take over the caravan. Once you want to return to grav ship camp anywhere load your srts into shuttle and exit atmosphere.

Hello! I wanted to make a few suggestions that would make this mod more in line with the game now that we have odyssey since you're continuing with the mod
1.Have the ship display how much chemfuel it expends when you place your cursor on a world tile

2.Select the Trade option directly from the drop down menu instead of having to visit the settlement and then trading

3.SRTS ships seem to be wasting way less chemfuel than vanilla shuttles do, efficiency is crazy compared to vanilla ones

Minor issues:
-Fixing the Immobile Caravan alert while the ship still has plenty space
-Maybe add the shuttle engine into the recipe of the ships?

Even genesis can't make a trip to orbit nor back nor from one place in orbit to another very dissapointing and needs fixing. Also add a setting to enable odyssey load unload, so that ships never unload unless you want them to. Dumping all cargo upon landing was ok in 1.5, cause no-one knew it could be avoided

@Шашлычник, I found this mod that does just what I asked of you a few comments below. It works just brillant together with your mod. Presets of wares and pawns work just fine. Just wanted to give a heads-up in case anyone else is searching for that feature.

FYI with odyssey when i launch to a tile I'm never given the chance to choose a landing site, I just appear and the ship has vanished.
Also launching to an orbiting base costs over a trillion chemfuel with the only space capable ship.
Which to that end with the shuttle added in odyssey the smaller ships are useless. They hold less cargo than the shuttle and aren't space capable per the description of the ships.
A balance pass along with space fairing capability is needed for all the ships now.

I may be doing something wrong, but the "load instantly" dev mode button seems to be gone. Anyone have any ideas?

Having an issue where "Mass" is limiting "Caravan Mass" and the skip capped at 150kg which barely fits a pawn, and some food/meds, even with the stats adjusted in settings.

It's not letting me form the caravan with anything over the mass limit. Thinking something isn't working right.
