@Mira how do you mean? I am running both and have not encountered any issues
Alext_10 24 Oct @ 11:51am
1: why are the pipes 100% flammable (has lead to MANY large fires from my pipe network being struck by lightning
2: why are the tanks / grinders not able to be walked through at all, makes structuring and a few general tasks around them a lot harder.
Mira 24 Oct @ 9:51am
Watch out guys, this doesn't work with Vanilla Temperature Expanded.
Dr. Wicked 9 Oct @ 3:38pm
I don't think the tanks need a buff, after all they not only keep the meals there, but also preserves them indefinitely and is immediately connected to the nutrient network. If you want to save on space, then do exactly as you mention and keep the meals on shelves.
Zastaver 9 Oct @ 8:37am
so a thing i noticed, the tanks use 4 cells to store 75 meals. . . 2 shelfs, also 4 cells stores 120.

solution, buf tanks to store 150
Rumblevn 8 Oct @ 8:34pm
is there a way for it to feed prisoners sooner? when my legless prisoners go hungry my pawn tried to feed them. By the time they get there the dripper already did its job but my pawns tried to feed another meal anyway
Jemi 5 Oct @ 3:45am
@crockett if by dispenser tray you mean the feeder then i'm having the same issue. i think its caused by a conflict with a hauling/inventory or storage mod. for me it'll dump meals on the floor if there's a paste meal in an adjacent tile. changed the max output stack on the feeder to 1, so far it hasnt overflowed again
Flabby AP 2 Oct @ 1:47pm
PSA: if you use any mods that add food that reduces consciousness, and you use drippers in your hospital, make sure to exclude those foods from your nutrient paste network.
HazeyInDaHead 27 Sep @ 2:45pm
Has anyone had issues with prisoners not using any of the nutrient paste dispensers?
Balthazad 26 Sep @ 2:10am
@crockett: mod conflict.

@FurtherReading: save your game, go dev god mode, test it, load your saved game - faster than waiting for an answer here.

@logangrendler: mod conflict.
Vril 17 Sep @ 12:20pm
nutrient paste vat power can't be flicked/turned off?
Dr. Wicked 17 Sep @ 7:29am
Bro, ThatOneBloke, how about reading the description before asking? The exact thing you're asking about is right there in the FAQs. How embarrassing.
ThatOneBloke 17 Sep @ 1:22am
well, I finally unpaused, and the meals didn't go bad in the time in between the power going off and coming back on, so I can only assume surrounding temperature does play a role, but it would still be nice to have a concrete answer.
ThatOneBloke 14 Sep @ 6:15am
guessing that, in the event of a solar flare, any meals still in the storage vats won't rot if the surrounding temperature is below freezing? just wanted to double check before unpausing
crockett 13 Sep @ 5:13pm
Umm trying to use this mod but it wont stop producing meals. I have the grinder, 1 vat and a dispenser tray. I don't have a dripper anywhere this is just to be used as back up so I just want it to make a few meals in the little tray.

I haven't changed any settings, but soon as I put food in the bins it keeps dumping meals all over the floor until it runs out of paste. What the heck is going on?
cluster.headache 9 Sep @ 12:18pm
@Xenox Rightclick the regular nutrient paste pipe in the architect menu. Unlike power conduits, visible and hidden nutrient paste pipes aren't listed separately.
FurtherReading 31 Aug @ 5:28pm
Do nutrient paste drippers work on animal beds?
cucumpear 30 Aug @ 5:12am
@Xenox It's grouped together in a dropdown with the normal pipe, that's also how you find the higher tier dispensers and tanks.
Xenox 25 Aug @ 8:21am
I have a problem - I can't build hidden nutrient paste pipe. When i start with it researched it doesn't show up and if i research it in game it still doesn't show up. Anyone have idea whats wrong?
logangrendler 24 Aug @ 2:04pm
copy and past but dame thing here. when i connect the nutrient paste vat to anything it stops working
Dr. Wicked 19 Aug @ 10:37pm
Is it possible to make the dispensers not count as a work facility for altars and/or thrones? I like to build my altar as a mess hall, but if I put a paste dispenser there the pawns will get the altar disrespected mood hit, which really doesn't make much sense as they are not really making anything there, they are just picking stuff up.
Wazouf 18 Aug @ 12:31pm
Any update for this invisible vat bug? didn't see any in description
Oskar Potocki  [author] 17 Aug @ 2:53pm
Issues should not be reported in the comments section. We have a bug report form for bug reports, please check the mod description. Ensure to attach logs as any reports without logs are automatically deleted.

The only way for us to help you is if you report it properly.
Swiss Army Knife 17 Aug @ 12:06pm
Issue persisted with the bugged error throwing vats for me even after ensuring a fresh install. Only happens when they're placed by themselves, if placed on an existing pipe network they work as intended.
sergal saturn (they/them) 17 Aug @ 10:42am
Issue was resolved after using debug to deconstruct and rebuild the pipe network and any vats that were bugged. Thanks!
Narroenee 17 Aug @ 8:27am
From what I can see by checking errors, it seems that the Nutrient paste pipe network isn't connecting properly, specifically with tanks for some reason.
when i contect the nutrient paste vat to anything it stops working
i still have issues with it, some pipes simply dont appear or dissapear
Cyboran 16 Aug @ 11:10pm
Much appreciated, Oskar! Love all the work you and your team do!
Oskar Potocki  [author] 16 Aug @ 10:02pm
Issue should be fixed now. A small error slipped by, but it should be working just fine now.
Wellow 16 Aug @ 8:14pm
The two steps may help before the bug is fixed.
Step 1: Deconstruct everything in your nutrition paste network, including all pipelines and relevant buildings.
Step 2: Rebuild your network. However, this time, DO NOT build your pipeline under the walls.
Geisthander 16 Aug @ 7:32pm
I've made a bug report, hopefully it gets resolved soon.I really appreciate all the work you guys do, you're the best!
Cyboran 16 Aug @ 7:13pm
Oh thank you, Geisthander! I appreciate it, it has been sent that-a-way
Geisthander 16 Aug @ 7:05pm
Vanilla expanded bug reports are only followed up on if you report it using the google doc.

Here's a log file with issues with the nutrient paste (this also includes reimagined progression but is otherwise a clean slate)

My game keep throwing red errors, and after destroying some pipes connected to the nutrient paste vat and hidden under the wall the red error stops, maybe this will help
Peap 16 Aug @ 6:47pm
i deleted all the buildings and uninstalled the mod, my save file luckily survived and also my colonists, they almost starved to death before i could get more food
FatJesusSavesYou 16 Aug @ 6:07pm
Ya the paste is half working while its conflicting with the chemfuel mod from VEF. Have a whole system on my gravship atm, with 45000 stored yesterday, was working but the whole pipe system is now reading 0 and not refilling grav tanks or shuttles as of today.
Nathan Nate Fox 16 Aug @ 4:49pm
Was there some update? the mod throws errors and does not work.
Lord Gaelish 16 Aug @ 4:47pm
Can confirm the mod is currently broken and leaving the game unplayable
Axareans 16 Aug @ 4:39pm
My run is ruined after this update.
ALPF 16 Aug @ 3:57pm
This module is no longer functioning properly. The saved files have been corrupted. Be careful.
Retro 16 Aug @ 3:18pm
it worked fine in my colony for ~60 days. after loading the save, every pipe connection was broken and i couldn't deconstruct the nutrient paste tab. it gave me no resources back and left some bugged, unwalkable tiles. use with caution...
15 Aug @ 6:09am
Hey guys, I got tired of how finicky colonist/prisoner interaction with the paste tap is, and made a patch that turns the feeder into a freezer, making it easier for colonists to use it instead of preferring other food sources. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3549240243
Cannis 15 Aug @ 2:22am
Need the mod and I fear others having some trouble
Enregór 14 Aug @ 6:22pm
The mod generated errors when a dripper is uninstalled (“minified”)
Rendan 8 Aug @ 12:40am
@Anker So just tested this out. I turned meals off for prisoners and then installed a drip feeder next to them. I'm fairly certain that they get auto fed when they get close to starving but I might have to do more testing to be 100% sure.
Anker 7 Aug @ 12:44pm
And yes, I did check that there was meals in the pipes connected to it. And it was powered. And hooked to the pipes.
Anker 5 Aug @ 4:27am
Hmm, when does the paste dripper work? On certain intervals? I was watching it for a while, but I don't think I ever saw it go off when I was testing it. Pawns woke up and left their bed without their hunger meters being refilled.
juako 4 Aug @ 10:03pm
@Nequ the feeder is also good for animals as they cant use the tap
