Idk if the eagle cohorts are reskinned generals or something but the AI is relentless in focus firing the eagle cohorts down with all their artillery and missile units at once.
Goonzel Washington 17 Sep @ 9:12am
Hey! Happy to have this mod. Do you consider creating and/or reshaping imperial legions of the 3rd century crisis? I implore :pogcher:

I will only update for the official release, and when i will have time.

Hey! would you make a mod wich uncaps the unit cap for these units?
anthonyl 31 Aug @ 3:51am
Does it work with the slower battles submod for DeI?
GROND! 29 Aug @ 5:33am
is there a mod wich can increase the unit size of these units?
Frequens 25 Aug @ 1:44pm
can someone please make this a standalone mod without DEI

Hello Team, I absolutely love this mod, and is a mainstay.

I do recommend a little tweak for historical accuracy. You have added 29 Augustan Legions, and with Summary's 28 army mod we can recreate the original 28 legions of Augustus.

However, there is an inconsistancy with one of the legions. Throwing aside XXII Primigenia, we have the IV Macedonica (IRL it was reconstituted to IV Flavia Felix) and XVI Flavia Firma (IRL it was first XVI Gallica before reconstitution). So in one case the original name was used, and in the other, the later name. I hope it would be worth the effort to change the naming at least of the XVI Flavia Firma to its original XVI Gallica. This way, we can use all 28 original Augustan Legions, as they were during his time. Thank you for all your hard work and efforts.

@Lykourgian Thank you so much for this. Managed to merge a lot of QOL mods and now everything works smoothly and the units are visible, cheers
pepperst 15 Jul @ 11:12am
I got the mod to work and it is great! In the future do you think you will ever do a version with 18 units instead of 9 for those of us who use 40 unit armies?
pepperst 10 Jul @ 6:06pm
I have unlocked the Marian reforms and my baracks say they unlock the units but they do not show up for recruitment - any suggestions?
glennm0180nl 10 Jul @ 1:00pm
error unit has no class key assigned!
Lykourgian 9 Jul @ 5:20am
@Jon that is an issue with having too many mods, you may only have 35 individual mods on your launcher. Look up a tutorial on how to merge them with RPFM

Hello friend does this conflict with AAA: Generals - Romans mod? I don't know why but when I run this mod and roman models extravaganza it seems to conflict with AAA: Generals mod because my roman general campaign models are missing arms, torso, etc.
Marcus Aurelius  [author] 14 Jun @ 10:54pm
@Squanchy Turn per year mods conflicts
Squanchy 14 Jun @ 12:23pm
Kudos for the response. I've passed marian reforms and can recruit generic legionnaires but when I go to recruit units from this mod they're still grayed out and indicating that I haven't reached marian reforms. Maybe Dresden's 12 TPY submod is conflicting? That's all I'm using.
Depgar31 10 Jun @ 2:22pm
Can you make it work with Marius v Sulla?
kkkkff 7 Jun @ 4:54am
X EquestrisIt does not have a distinctive eagle flag
Marcus Aurelius  [author] 5 Jun @ 1:02am
@Squanchy --> No, on grand campaign it adds them at the MArian reforms.

Its for the other campaigne added by DEI --> Marius vs Sulla --> Marian legions won't be here because named legions weren't a thing at this time period.
Evan 4 Jun @ 12:10pm
Does this work?
Squanchy 30 May @ 8:47am
Thanks for keeping the mod alive. After browsing the comments and your replies I've surmised that the "Marian Legions" this mod adds will NOT be available at the Marian Reforms (Turn 100, Imperium 7) on grand campaign and will show up later. Any clarity on this would be appreciated
Tarquinius 29 May @ 3:54am
Hey short question. Is it on purpose that there are no veteran versions for the marian legionaries? (havent reached imperial yet with this mod on) really love the nice models and dont want to use the vanilla ones since i have seen your models :P
Some Chinese Letters 2 May @ 9:08am
Is it compatible with vanilla campaign? I mean, without DEI.
nigel 17 Apr @ 5:42pm
would you be able to change the augustan units in imperator augustus to marian units for historical accuracy as armour featured in the augustan units only came into service around 9bc
Marcus Aurelius  [author] 25 Mar @ 11:18am
@Ess No
Marcus Aurelius  [author] 25 Mar @ 11:18am
@10sunbee --> Load order issue / Uncompatible mods
Ess 20 Mar @ 2:23pm
Can you make same mod but for grand campaign only? not dei
10sunbee 15 Mar @ 11:27pm
The unit name doesn't appear on the unit card. And I haven't even reformed the military system yet, so why can I recruit Imperial units from the beginning when I started the Grand Campaign?
【PROFESSOR ONYX】 10 Mar @ 11:27am
Amazing mod but it would be awesome were it available without the DEI requirement :(
Achérôn 9 Mar @ 5:02am
Hello ! Formidable work I'm currently using for my roman campaign.
Do you know if you could unable your mod to Empire Divided campaign ? I don't know if it could merge with Sol Invictus mod to make the units appear like 3rd century legionaries. It works well with all DEI auxiliaries which now have 3rd century looking but all roman legionaries units have the same aspects. I'm just curious about what it could create.
Thank you for your work.

We need more Imperial Legions

Motmeister: are you running mods besides DEI and this mod
Motmeister 3 Feb @ 6:28am
Any help? Theyre just floating bodies for me without armor
Sorr🤖 23 Jan @ 3:11am
nevermind was a load order issue
thanks for the mod sir fantastic units
Sorr🤖 23 Jan @ 3:01am
i can recruit imperial units from turn 1 ?
LEGION 18 Jan @ 9:41am
I got bored hope its alright with you changed all the units to 480/800 do you think if I changed the naval to the same it would break? I dont want to increase the number of boats since I've noticed them get stuck on one another. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3409297603
LEGION 17 Jan @ 5:48am
either that or a X2 mod
LEGION 16 Jan @ 6:10pm
This is an awesome mod. Is there any chance you can make it either compatible with a bigger unit size mod or make a sub mod with the historical 480 cohort size?
Marcus Aurelius 5 Jan @ 9:18pm
mod sucks without praetorian guards

It works with the spanish translation mod?
[83rd]1in1class 29 Dec, 2024 @ 12:43am
Turn 100 and Imperium level 5 is what DEI has. Does that sound right?
[83rd]1in1class 29 Dec, 2024 @ 12:37am
@Marcus Aurelius I'm on turn 80 now and just got done doing the 2nd reform in the tech tree. Last one is the Imperial research. What turn does it happen in DEI?
