Yep, and it's still not fixed in vanila.
Salv 22 Mar, 2023 @ 6:30pm
Does this still work?
borsk 19 Feb, 2023 @ 3:39pm
Thank you for making this mod. It's unbelievable that paradox still haven't fixed this
Sagramorelkc 22 Jan, 2023 @ 7:37pm
Thank you for this!
complete_nonsense 17 Jan, 2023 @ 9:02am
YESSSS THANK YOU
it's so annoying that this isn't default I want to accept all those who are dying to the crisis and shelter them from the storm rhghhh
Mad Monarch 29 Dec, 2022 @ 4:56pm
thank you for this, always found it funny like some refugess going " I AINT GOING TO NO COMMUNIST ROBOT EMPIRE, now excuse me while i go to the empire of space slugs that eats other xenos"
Mr. Miyagi 23 Dec, 2022 @ 3:37pm
Lazy_NOOBuddy Synth and cyborg assimilation gives the pop the empire's ethics, so it definitely sounds pretty sketchy there. Honestly though, sometimes I think about living in a servitor empire. Imagine if they got little immigration bonuses from other empires too!
Lazy_NooBuddy  [author] 20 Dec, 2022 @ 2:27am
I guess organics in stellaris value their freedom and their way of life far more than their lives, since they won't migrate to any place where they'll be slaves or assimilated, and assimiliation doesn't even have to be harmful, it might also be joining a hive mind, unlocking your psionic potential, becoming a cyborg etc.

Funny how refugees run to a "normal" empire or just gets genocided instead of going to an empire where machines will literally provide you with everything you want and need in your life.

Nice mod that makes a lot of sense
Bolo_Nike 18 Dec, 2022 @ 5:30pm
one start that isnt quite as instantly OP as birch world is Frame world. is a very interesting take on a one world challenge and takes a while to build but is very fun to see it all go (if you have expanded Ascension perks though make sure you throttle yourself on the world ascensions as it will overflow and go negative for empire size).

Also i need to add this next playthrough. i did not realize that it was impossible i just thought i was unlucky. Rogue Servitor is my favorite path too.
Emperor Lowa 18 Dec, 2022 @ 2:33pm
Neat been a while since I have played stellaris (birch world origin in gigastructures getting reworked is motivating me to start again) let alone gestalts, which is ironic because rogue servitors are my favorite. Must be an oversight then... or unfinished. I suppose paradox does the nuclear option sometimes if they can't get around to making a mechanic work to their standards.

Inflation mechanics in vicky 3 for example, not being a thing because of technical issues so money printing goes brrrrr. I guess not letting rogue servitors have refugees make sense since their priority system is wonky I suppose.
Lazy_NooBuddy  [author] 18 Dec, 2022 @ 1:51am
If it is by design - it contradicts itself, since as Rogue Servitor you can change the refugee policy to "Refugees Welcome" and it's the only gestalt that has that so chances are that wasn't a mistake. It would make some sense if resettling to a rogue servitor would be a last resort for organics (which I assumed at the start), since you become a literal biotrophy but instead they don't migrate to them under any circumstances.
Emperor Lowa 17 Dec, 2022 @ 6:28pm
Bizarre oversight, Although I do wonder if this was by design? because technically you are surrendering your sovereignty by running to a rogue servitor... then again, if I were being genocided I would be okay with that. paradox has had more mental logic before.

Eitherway this issue should be brought to Paradox. Ill incorporate it into my modlist so the rogue servitors i WON'T play get to play the New Colossus game that i do in my always xenophillic empires.

Uh...neither am I, just a lurker. :D Hopefully some kind soul will do it for you.
Lazy_NooBuddy  [author] 16 Dec, 2022 @ 12:10pm
I'm not on reddit, but feel free to do it if you'd like!
Baka Racker 16 Dec, 2022 @ 12:09pm
Looks like a great fix to a serious oversight. You should post this r/Stellaris, the devs are regulars there and will likely see it.
hello_world 14 Dec, 2022 @ 7:33pm
finally, i was always confused why i never got refugees as a rogue servitor government
Lazy_NooBuddy  [author] 13 Dec, 2022 @ 8:50pm
You're welcome! You can help all stellaris players out by spreading this mod and revealing this bug, the more people know the higher the chances of the devs noticing and fixing it.
w.girl27 13 Dec, 2022 @ 12:21pm
THANK YOU this was always a massive annoyance in my rouge servitor RP that no organics would come to me willingly
Universe 13 Dec, 2022 @ 12:15pm
Oh wow, so it actually was a bug. I still remember the days when I have to invade other empires who were getting annihilated by the crisis/awaken empires to save their species. Thanks for this mod.
Lazy_NooBuddy  [author] 13 Dec, 2022 @ 11:11am
It's a bug, rogue servitors are meant to have refugees if you have a policy option "Refugees Welcome", it simply does not work due to the logic in the code
Svijj 13 Dec, 2022 @ 11:03am
I mean it would make sense for refugees to migrate to a literal automated utopia, wouldn't it? Indeed Paradox, pls make this vanilla
