Found a use. dfhack if you save a custom modlist using mod-manager, reinstall the game and don't install any mods. You'll get an error message from mod-manager stating that you didn't install a mod. You have to install at least one mod it seems to use mod-manager. Using this mod not only removes the message, but lets you edit your mod-manager list in-game without any mods instlaled.

Someday we will all be dead and our lives will be forgotten. Under these circumstances, it's hard to see *anything* we do having *any* point at all. So I don't see why a point for this mod is required.

Excellent, I was legitimately planning to make a blank mod that all new worlds would install so I'd have a convenient spot to drop in mods I want to add to existing worlds, and you saved me the trouble :D
