This would be wicked cool modded into "Divinity: Zombie Arena" 4 v 4 pvp w/ pve zombies and when a player dies they become a player controlled zombie!

Now if the multiplayer could be expanded later to between 4-8 players that would obviously be a bonus Larian developers hinted at potential for more than 4 players with mods, but how many isn't affirmed though mentioned possibly 6-8.

This would be worth looking into to test and see exactly how many player can be supported he mentioned 4-8 players.

I wonder if this could be made into 8 player by turning pets into co-op players and giving the pets custom special attacks?

its now on nexus and will be updated regulary as the steam version.

@Feared: I agree with SmokingMan25, since the mod update feature isn't available yet on the Workshop you could do what I did and post it on Nexus. They allow you to update new versions of your mod while still keeping the old versions uploaded. So you can post smaller updates there for testing/user input and then bring big the updates here, or you can keep updating there and when the mod updating feature arrives here you update the Steam version into the Nexus version. It also allows people that didn't buy the game on steam to use your mod. :)

This will be posted on nexus once its finished :)

I am not sure if you have this on the Nexus but I would highly suggest you post on there as it allows for manual installation which is far easier than all the bullshit steam puts you through.

Threelibras: I had the same issues with the cow mod. Only restarting the computer then starting the game and closing it, then copy the .pak file to the right location fixed it for me.

Cant get the mod to download.. I subscribe and nothing happens.. Tried restarting steam and a bunch of other things.. No clue what to do.

@ Canelloni This might be possible but at this very moment the mod needs to work as intended before we can start balancing tweaking and ofcourse addinge extra features. Either way thanks for your idea. I will note it in my own personal list for ideas. ;)

@lil mermaid i cloned your fix in the discription.

Gregham818: For some reason (likely a bad definition either in the game or on steam) it gets copied into the wrong folder for some peops. You will find it in a subfolder of.../steam/userdata/... It's a .pak file so searching for *.pak or arena in there will reveal it.

Copy the pak file to .../steam/SteamApps/common/Divinity - Original Sin/Data/ and you should be good to go.

how do i add this mod i subsribed but nothing happened in the mod optioon any idea why?

Is it possible to change the duration of negative effects to an certain amount? or let the effect of the spell last forever?
(more than 3 rounds etc)

Then I might have got a solution to the forced turn based combat:

Maybe you could try to give the opposite Party the negativ spell effect of beeing charmed - in respective - each party has got then an npc that is invulnerable but works for the case to cast the spell on the party - In this case it would also be plausible to mantain this effect as a part from the "story" for this mod - like the statue is a beeing that swaps from good to evil - and therefor lets you fight against each other. If he's in Good mood then you could swap to PVE and so on - Ive got tons of ideas in my head , but Im not sure if theyre applicable or might make sense.
