@Taylor I tried using this mod with bpm, the decree part works fine, but something is wrong with authority mechanic, as long I put one decree every IG have -10 relation debuff as if I have full negative authority

@Taylor Thank you very much for the quick response! I have Ethnostate enacted and have researched Nationalism and do not have Guaranteed Liberties or any similar law enacted. To clarify: the Civic Suppression decree appears in my game even when it cannot be used due to lack of suitable laws, but the Encourage Violent Hostility does not appear in the ribbon at the bottom of the screen under any circumstances. If I didn't see the icon for it in the tech tree under Nationalism, I would think that it wasn't in the game at all.

Thank you for also confirming that the Encourage Values decree is coded exactly the same as vanilla.
Taylor  [author] 29 Sep @ 2:01am
@Noobie Decrees only appear if you don't have disallowing laws and have required techs, so Encourage Violent Hostility needs nationalism + ethnostate or national supremacy. While I don't want to deny what you are experiencing yourself with the Encourage Values decree not assimilating homeland pops, it is coded to do so in the exact same way that vanilla's decree does, so if its not working then there is perhaps a vanilla bug.

@ab128 Does it need one? What doesn't work?

Is there a compatibility patch with BPM?
Noobie McNoobface | LEX 28 Sep @ 8:24pm
"Encourage Violent Hostility" appears in the tech tree but does not appear in the edicts tab, so it is unusable. Furthermore, I have so far not noticed any effect on homeland pops being assimilated with the assimilation edict, even though the latest official update allowed the vanilla version of the edict to assimilate homeland pops. I am not using any other mods. I would be very grateful if you could look into these, and thank you very much for this wonderful mod!
Taylor  [author] 28 Sep @ 6:44pm
I think I did update the encourage values (vanilla promote national values or something) to assimilate in homeland
wafflekiller 28 Sep @ 2:22pm
since 1.10 added the ability to assimilate in homeland. Would it be possible for the national values decree to allow assimilate in homelands. In compensation for assimilating you could reduce the speed of assimilation to be more similar to the vanilla decree.

After looking at all the numbers....I can conclusively say...that I do not understand the numbers involved in colonization. But what I CAN say is that when I put your decree on a colony now, it increases the colony growth speed. So I will take that and run with it xD
utka818 27 Sep @ 4:32am
thanks!
Taylor  [author] 26 Sep @ 10:36pm
== Updated to 1.10 ==

New 'Grant Local Autonomy' decree. Tweaked a few others. See change notes tab for details
Taylor  [author] 26 Sep @ 10:16pm
@Cairsiden Hey, thanks! Your intuition to put it on the non-colony was right. It works by increasing the amount of colony generation points you produce. I believe there is an effective cap on this though, so that might be what happened in your scenario where you didn't see any change. I'm just about to update the mod and have added a different type of colony growth modifier, so it should still do something in this event, as well as making it slightly stronger in other cases.
Cairsiden 26 Sep @ 11:22am
Hiya! First off want to say thank you for the awesome mod! (I read through a few pages of the comments to see if my problem had already been addressed recently and saw a bunch of people just being absolute jackasses....I apologize on their behalf. Whether they like it or not!) My question is a simple one. The penal colony transfers, am I supposed to put that on the colony itself or on a non-colony? I'm GUESSING non-colony, but when I did I didn't see any change at all in the number of days to expand where I was colonizing. Which....I think is how that works? (I'll be honest, I'm still learning something new every time I play.) Thanks again! =)
Taylor  [author] 23 Sep @ 10:05pm
gotcha, thanks, will do. theres another new modifier type i saw that should be an interesting decree
Yes now The Promote National Values decree now allows Pops in the state to be assimilated even if the state is one of the homeland states for their culture, I hope that you can add this rule in your better decree, thanks!
Taylor  [author] 23 Sep @ 9:28pm
Does it actually need updating?
update plz
taz 18 Sep @ 4:26pm
cool i think youre right im double checking now
Taylor  [author] 12 Sep @ 1:09am
interesting. I really doubt this mod crashed your game, though if that other mod also does things with decrees, maybe.
taz 11 Sep @ 7:56am
so it might be causing crashes with the mod that goes till 2019 still working on it so im not sure but as soon as i added your mod to it,the game started crashing again... i know thats a random bug if it is one just thought you might want to know... ill keep testing

Would this work in realms of exether?
thank you
Taylor  [author] 3 Jul @ 4:52am
I havent set one up, sorry. But feel free to send it to me another way, such as discord. my user is taylor0408
vonMort 3 Jul @ 2:50am
Is there a github repo to contribute e.g. translations? german translation seems broken.
Taylor  [author] 28 Jun @ 2:02am
feel free to give suggestions
東條 英機, TOJO 25 Jun @ 8:40pm
it need more variety and some laws
Taylor  [author] 25 Jun @ 7:24pm
all good broski, thanks for coming back to clarify that :D
Paulaswam 25 Jun @ 3:06am
My apologies meant to post this under the Grey's Populist Legal Power mod.
Taylor  [author] 25 Jun @ 2:12am
Odd. I have no idea why this would affect subventions.
Paulaswam 25 Jun @ 2:07am
Ignore me if someone mentioned this already, the mod seems to grey-out/disable the new traffic/subventions added in the recent DLC. Tested with only this mod enabled.
zzzptm 21 Jun @ 6:00pm
I'm doing more testing, it's not this mod or the L&A. I do think there are tweaks in this mod and the other that are due for 1.9.X changes, but they're not the ones breaking my game. Thought they were, but then the thing kept happening. I'm doing a binary search, got it down to four candidates.
Taylor  [author] 21 Jun @ 5:56pm
Yeah its not updated yet. I'll find time to do so in a week or two. But I do appreciate constructive comments that outline what isn't working as that can save me some time.
육 Victrix 21 Jun @ 4:23pm
@zzzptm wow its almost like it's not updated yet, crazy aint it
zzzptm 21 Jun @ 3:23pm
There's an issue with this mod in 1.9.X. I'm playing as France and the admin buildings in Paris periodically empty out and then fill up again with this mod active. This is also happening with Law & Authority active. Turn the mods off, and I don't get this cyclical behavior.
SaaR 21 Jun @ 12:49am
Does this mod compatible with 1.9? Thanks!
Zippy 9 Apr @ 5:40am
what unlocks the culture conversion decree?
yc2233 13 Mar @ 10:49pm
I'm sorry for causing you any discomfort. I will make the necessary changes immediately, separate my content, and create a new mod. Wishing you a happy life!
Taylor  [author] 13 Mar @ 10:20pm
@yc2233 I do mind, actually. It is good practice to ask first. You barely changed things and if I may comment, your additions are very overpowered.

Please remove my decrees, my thumbnail and change your mod's name so it isn't the same as mine.
yc2233 13 Mar @ 8:09pm
Hi, I’ve made some changes to the original values in this MOD and added 7 new decrees, creating a new MOD.
I hope you don’t mind. Here’s the link to the new MOD.

Taylor  [author] 11 Mar @ 1:41am
@TurtleShroom Because I change every decree or add ones that make vanilla ones redundant. It also means I don't need to overwrite other vanilla content that uses vanilla decrees as triggers to instead pick up my decrees. And no other mod should really be overwriting the decrees unless it is doing the exact same thing as this mod, in which i'd say you should pick one you prefer and load that one last.
TurtleShroom 10 Mar @ 5:18pm
Why does this overwrite the entire Decree list?
Mrcvak 7 Feb @ 11:57am
@Taylor Thank you, indeed the issue was I was on racial segregation.

Additionally I confirm the issue that Masato flagged, that the decree is only visible in when you right click a state.
Is there also any chance to make them all visible but have the non-available one's greyed out with the requirements listed?

Thank you for your nice mod and work so far :)
Masato 5 Feb @ 9:18am
Okay so you see it when you right click on a state but you don't see the decree in the decree list on the bottom interface
Taylor  [author] 4 Feb @ 12:19pm
you need racial supremacy or ethnostate. pretty sure this was the requirement for the previous version too.
Mrcvak 2 Feb @ 6:25am
Hi, I don't seem to see the encourage "violent hostility" decree anymore even when nationalism is researched. Has it been removed or what are the triggers to see it? Thanks!
KushGene 26 Jan @ 6:51am
I updated german translation and would like to share it (github would be nice).
Taylor  [author] 19 Jan @ 3:02pm
@Hadi if you wanna send me a post on discord with your recommended adjustments to each decree I can consider it. Thanks to 1.8 reworking decree script, I could make variations based on game rule.
Hadi 18 Jan @ 9:39am
could u maybe make a less overpowered version of this?
zascat 1 Jan @ 2:21pm
i prefer send it to you but can't invite you on discord...
