Hello would there be a way to be compatible with non-destructive grav launch ? Event keep happening on abandonned settlement when I do it with the gravship.

Anything that counts as a pawn of your faction should make it have events. Mechanoids count. For the altered carbon mod it depends on how it is implemented.

Will this work if your only active pawn is a mechanoid (biotech or vanilla factions expanded - mechanoids) or hauler animal?

It'd be cool to create a shelter that contains stacks & sleeves (via the vanilla expanded altered carbon mod) and some haulers, so you could rebuild essential colonists then deploy them to the rest of the world if their colony is lost

All correctly set up mods mods are marked with what major versions of the game they support. This is shown both in the mods dialog in the game and on Steam. On Steam it is shown on the top right, right by the top right corner of the preview image.
If you are using the mobile app, it is shown if you swipe in from the right edge, just below the "store page" button.

Seemed to be getting an issue where if there are no colonies and your pawns are on the world map, the game kept pausing and throwing out a debug error? I'm new to mods for this game so not sure how to report this.

It could also be a bug, you can check the wealth for a specific map by going to History -> Statistics. Please let me know if the wealth is less than 5% - in that case I'll need to figure out why it does not work.
I'll consider what could be a good way to designate them manually.

This should have an option to choose deactivated colonies since I have nothing on the secondary one but it apparently has more than 5% wealth

Note that if you have pawns on the tile it can still get hit.

I dont really play with a permanent second colony, I just plop it down, loot the area pretty quick, send it all back, and then abandon

But this seems really nice, especially since ive seen some videos on youtube where a second colony gets hit with some events while the main colony has nothing going on, especially on randy or a few modded story tellers.

That was definitely some weirdness when I played with a winter hunting site and a remote ship construction site. Randy did like throwing threats at nobody.
