@ktaylore1212 the carrier update forced all preexisting ship mods to be updated to allow for this to not happen, the author just as not gotten around to it yet.

The small craft launchpads have a visual glitch on all hulls from this mod that can mount them, where the internals of the bay are obstructed by the hull's model. The bays do function perfectly from a gameplay standpoint, though.

now i've just remembered, there's no corvette hull for the alliance (OSP has the Stalker-class but alliance doesn't get any kind of replacement for the sprinter), could we get one please?

damn i really loove the idea of this mod, the only details that could make it perfect for me is changing the viscount frigate to 18-20 armor cm and maybe a 10-15% DR, so it makes more sense it being called a heavy frigate, and to the Castellan a 10% max repair and maybe 35cm of armor would also make it perfect for it to be a heavy cruiser
really hoping the author to update this little gem

I have an idea for the OSP for a new ship. How about giving them a small to mid sized modern policing ship. I should be reasonable there would be a few in a junk yard the OSP could get there hands one.

If I may offers some constructive criticism, I think the textures on these are not very good. I get what you were going with, but paint isn't going to turn into rusted steel (that's still somehow the same colour as the paint) no matter how long you leave it. The sort of weird, bumpy matte surface on these makes them stand out really bad when you put them next to vanilla ships, and that has nothing to do with the models, they're great, everything else here is great. I hope I don't come off as too nitpicky but I figured I'd put this out there.

Latest update seems to have broken something. Whenver i try and use a wivern hull i get constant console spam with "Value of name 'Power' was not found" and issues about thruster particles not showing

Love the new hull for OSP, and it does make sense for the older corvette model to be used by them. Do you have anything you're willing to say on potential future OSP hulls or will they be a surprise?

The Wivern's PD mounts have some clipping issues with their rotation circles. You probably already knew that but just in case.

Reckon you should market the Viscount as a destroyer since it clearly outclasses the Raines.
Calling that beast a frigate is disingenuous at best, I'm packing quad 250s on that thing, maybe up the price by a few points, 200? 210?

Since these ships are meant to be outdated, have you thought of giving them EW penalties?

The Viscount could fit in with OSP as another mothballed alliance ship like the Ocello. They sort-of have a similar hull design, too, with the big-blocky prow.

@screamer That is true, but then again, I don't think anyone has had concerns about blowing through standard frigate armor with basic weapons, so it is not exactly a nerf.

@chaosguy Good point, will look into further balancing in the future. However, currently the hull's being balanced by a thinner armor than the Raines, which I think its a significant negative trait.

I'd say the the Viscount is possibly under priced- as it lets you potentially bringing the firepower of a light cruiser on a frigate frame.
