That is a generous offer, delfiorina. However, I believe mods should be free across the board as that's how modding started and not everyone can afford to pay. So please keep the money and buy yourself a nice dlc on my behalf :)

Now, as for your request... I do agree that the wood elves would definitely benefit from say an ent (think Treebeard from Lord of the Rings) rock thrower that behaves similar to the minotaur in the beast men faction. Unfortunately I am battling depression and my capacity to work on mods is severely reduced. I'll let you know if I decide to start a wood elves unit mod. I'll also be mauling over what, if any thing, the wood elves could do more of as they too are one my other favorite factions. Mind you this is not an out-right no as it was something I had already thought of doing. It will just take a lot of time to do it and I apologize for that.

Im just wondering if you could make a artillery mod for the Wood elves and instead of Necromancers use wood elves spellsingers as models?

And if you want you could add me as a friend and you can choose ANY game you want
and i will pay for that and send it as a gift to your steam account?

But i cant do it before after three days thats the steam policy i looked it up.

Good news everyone (and @delfiorina and @막강좀비 )! I was able to fix a lot in the most recent update. Be sure to check it out! I'm still clueless how to fix the ugly close ups in battle though.

@delfiorina I see the issue. They want to climb ladders instead of shooting the wall. Hm... I'm thinking it can only be one or the other. I'll have to figure out how to fix that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I love the Necromancers in this artillery mod but you can only taget the towers when
you are attacking but not the walls?

Hi @막강좀비 I happen to agree with you. The military generation capability does happen way too soon and often. I am currently looking at a way to fix that since you noticed it as well. I promise nothing though. It takes time to poke and prod at this game to see what I can change where.

I think there's a balance issue. It's too easy to produce, so I think the probability of it appearing should be significantly reduced to balance it out. I want to use the unit because it's cool, but the problem is that it's too easy to use.

You can only find them in areas where great battles were fought with either a high quality or a high quantity of units fought and died.

They are indeed recruitable by the raise dead mechanic. Tested it myself. You can actually get some of the units pretty early on if you're lucky.

ATTENTION ALL:

After a very long break. I'm back, and I'm working on this mod again. I'm attempting to address some of the feedback I've received since it's initial release, the biggest of which was these units were overpowered. I attempted to tweak their values, so they more closely match Radious' units. I play tested them against half the factions on a level playing field, both as attacking and defending. I'd say the win / loss ratio for my AI friends is about 50/50.

Because balancing units is an eternal nightmare, I encourage you to give feedback. It is much appreciated, and I will do what I can to please. So test it out, let me know if there's any more balance issues.

@Potatoe, you're in luck. I'm actually working on updating / re-balancing this mod as we speak. Along with updated unit cards. It'll be coming soon™. Keep in mind though, I still want to use all of these units across all my armies in my game. So to do that, they will need to be slightly better than the best Radious units.

@Anax, I can confirm that this mod is still working. Just tested it myself. Let me know if there's any compatibility issues with other mods, but I don't think there should be.

Thank you for the archer and necromancers . I research modder for create 2 vampires units for compensation (steam card gift or paypal or other) 1 vampire elite infantry unit (not skeleton) and 1 the same unit in cavalry, black armor and shield, signals me if you are motivated (sorry language French)

thanks for the fix. The necromancers could use a unit card, also they cant be healed by nehek, since they probably aren't toggled as undead.

Thanks Gas. Yeah, I did use the auto generate button in Asset Editor. Just was wondering if there was a way to get less noticeable popping between LODs. I guess changing rendering distance will help fix that a little more.

Hi, as for the LOD that's totally normal for performance reasons, since it increases the quality of your units at close distance to make screenshots, and compresses the meshes/degrades the quality the further away you are, so you aren't rendering 100+ high quality, textured models from afar per unit. If you haven't yet, Asset Editor has a "Auto Generate Mesh for LOD" button.

Also you can increase the distance at which each stage of LOD appears.

the dead legion archers make a weird audio clipping sound when their arrows hit something.
