Just tested it and it works for me currently for anyone whos concerned :). results may vary but for me its working!

Hands down one of my favorites if not THE favorite mod in all of total war. making a full doomstack of these (my poor treasury! T_T lol), is a true experience to behold you dont know true power until you do. haha. expensive and balanced? absolutely. even when you get into late game and have all the eco in the world, youre NOT going to be fielding multiple stacks of these guys. is it worth it? YES. you may not be fielding alot of these... but you wont NEED to. just ONE of these doomstacks will single handedly steamroll and wipe out an entire nation. your economy is going to cry when you first try to scrounge up the funds to get them but they're worth their weight in gold.

@Gauntlet same for Wissenland and Nuln. It would be awesome to be able to recruit if you have the landmark in Altdorf.

@Nox is this perhaps a possibility to mod in? Would be great to use this awesome mod for more Empire factions in campaign :)

I cannot seem to recruit these when playing as Gelt, I have no problem when playing as Franz however. Perhaps this is intentional?

hey Nox for some reason the "armoury" isnt a building i can build. what table do i need to remove from the mod to be able to recruit the unit?

Hey themobgobbler, the last update was meant as a quick fix to the breaking changes introduced by 5.0. However the scaling issue should now be fixed as well.

HI nox, i would like to suggest a few small stat and ability tweeks, these suggests use the singes gryphons and royal hippos as compare and contrast

hit points: 8500 (with balance in mind, in no fantasy verse does a hippo beat a gryphon)
weapon strength : 162 (base 62, AP 100)
charge bonus: 55

add seige attacker, bloodroar, and perfect vigour

increase price to 2250

Well it's not a stretch here. The Royal Altdorf Gryphites are a thing. Unlike the Royal Hippogriff Knights they are however not in the game.

their swords seem a bit useless since a knight on a griffon doesn't have the reach to hit anything (not that he needs to) but yeah the dude needs a spear or something

Thanks for porting this over to WH3, I always love having this mod active on my Empire campaigns. This unit make an excellent bodyguard to accompany Franz or an Empire General on a Griffon.

Out of curiosity why did you choose to equip the knights on this unit with swords? I would have thought a lance or halberd would be better suited for a monster rider.

is this unit not suppose to receive benefits from the battle skill 'speed of horse'. Because it said Reikguard in the description and i notice that the units get the bonuses from Karl's ' imperial special forces'. Just wondering and wanted to say that this my favourite unit mod been using it since warhammer 1.
