well i dont mod the game anymore, but i think its possible to change the restrictions, probably the problem its the spawn area that map have designated for it.

Could you please make a mod that allows for more than 1 vehicle per mission along with this? Or alternatively how could I edit files to allow for 2 (or more) vehicles to be deployed?

It works fine and can confirm it has no problems integrating into a game in progress. Thank you for making the mod. :)

if it doesnt work for old vehicles try with new ones, but in theory if i recall correctly i should have changed it in a way that it effect the actual spawned one, you might wanna try puting the vehicle back at base and getting it out again on the ship to see if it works

@sticky wicket sorry for the late reply but steam forgot to send me a notification, so ye in teory it should work with new created vehicles, i dont remember tho because it has been a while since i played the game.

To clarify....does this mean that the scarab only takes 1 space on the Manticore? ie: allowing Scarab+5 troops to be loaded on the dropship?

@marsianin are you serius? you are using 2 mod that changes the same thing, ofcouse one of the mod will not work, because it gets overwriten, you can either have this or the other one.

its not, you'll find that it stays bulky when you have a full team of 6 and can't fit a car inside too

This mod is actually extremely good. The best transport is the synedrion transport and this plays into that perfectly. 5-man squad with 4 soldiers + vehicle is the right fit for scavenger missions out in the wild, and when you need an 8-man team for a mission, having two transports with 4 soldiers each is just right.

Logistically, it is easier to transport the vehicle long distances than transporting people long distances thanks to their need for food, air, and sleeping quarters. Even more, these vehicles cannot level up or get better over time, not to mention there is few good researches for upgrading them, so these vehicles are outclassed by a single soldier. Size 1 makes a lot of sense.

Further to Charlemagne, why can't you put infantry into vehicles when transporting the vehicle? I don't find it hard to justify using this mod.

If you watch the aircraft movies before missions, they have a pod under them for the land vehicle, so the crew can go inside and the vehicle outside. So at least from logic point of view this mod is good. From gaming point of view, vehicles are great but hardly worth three soldiers. I think a size of 2 is sensible for those who want some challenge, but for those of us who need every bit pf help size 1 is perfect :steamthumbsup:

I believe this functionality is in Dtony's 80-in-1. It's hightly configurable.

A question to the creator of this mod:

Is it possible for you too make an option in the title screen for the mod, so i can change the vehicle size between 1, 2 and 3 ? Whereas is think the vanilla size of 3 is too much i would like to play with a size of 2 for vehicles. I know i could just play as if it where size of 2 but i constantly find myself ignoring on this restriction i gave myself xD

Okay, this is wierd, I just deactvated the mod and went back into my load/save that I was playing before installing this.. those issues are gone now? I've reactivated it after going back to the menu and it seems everything's still fine.

Tried using it recently, sadly it seemed to just completely break the UI/Menus for Personnel loadouts, the models/vehicles and even models for soldier units doesn't appear, just has a constant loading sign. Selecting a unit/vehicle causes the model viewer and UI showing the name of said unit/vehicle to merge behind the inventory to the left. This is from a loaded save prior to installing the mod, just to note.

I take it that it's best suggested to start a new game instead?

The MOD has a logical explanation, after all, the crew can be packed into the vehicle and the vehicle into the aircraft.
