Flying op Base? What do you mean by op? Like overpowered?

Nice Cargo Heli can you help me Building a Flying op Base ?
Sparkar  [author] 7 Aug, 2022 @ 2:42pm
Right.

Well you should be informed that this helicopter was not designed with that in mind.

This helicopter was made for at least a 2 man crew.

One pilot.
And one ground or crane operator

But whatever floats your boat.

Just don’t upload please

Nice build. Of course I had to make some "improvements", mainly adding flight control ability to crane operator station (collective, yaw and pitch).
Sparkar  [author] 6 Aug, 2022 @ 5:54am
'ppreciate it.

I look forward to the HL-3 already. :D But either way this Work Horse beast helicopter is the most utilised helicopter to have in Stormworks. I can't find any other Skycrane that can do what this beast does. Well Done Mate!

Will definitely try to address that in an HL-3 release.

:eaglegag:
nice.

Also, regarding the container loading issues, I can't seem to put my finger on it.

I was able to load containers alright during my own pre release testing. But, the game's physics engine has not been kind to the rope mechanisms.

So that can definitely introduce discrepancies.

Your more then welcome to post the video to the creation page :)

Fixed the bucket issue.
RNTZH690 1 Aug, 2022 @ 7:08pm
it can lift a train. Will have video proof but its only seconds because i can't reveal too much of what me and a friend plan to do in the future. but ya it lifted a whole GE ES44AC engine...
Sparkar  [author] 1 Aug, 2022 @ 4:48pm
There is a connector to the side of the bucket that is attached by the ropes to the bucket itself.

To connect the bucket you need to align it up with the main connector on the Stratolifter.

I am not able to update it now, but I am going to add an electrical connector in the middle to make linking a lot simpler.

For the time being, simply adding an electrical connector in between the armament connectors will make connecting significantly easier.

how do i get the bucket on?
Sparkar  [author] 31 Jul, 2022 @ 6:46am

lol heres a short clip of the shipping container catching fire. https://youtu.be/Av1pmJwSbSE
Sparkar  [author] 31 Jul, 2022 @ 5:24am
There is a new fuel bladder I just uploaded 5 mins ago. Check that out.
RNTZH690 31 Jul, 2022 @ 5:22am
Even a simple fuel efficient variant thats maybe crewed by 2. Smaller. I spent last night practising cargo container missions. Got some good short clip footages im currently editing. The magnets seem to like to blow up when they attach to a container xD it set one on fire... lol but i fly it in autopilot mode most of the time.
Sparkar  [author] 30 Jul, 2022 @ 7:03pm
And yes, jet fuel guzzling is a very fair statement lol.

2000 L / Minute.

Its skin and bones, so it doesn't have an enormous tank, but it works.
Maybe a HL-3?
Sparkar  [author] 30 Jul, 2022 @ 7:02pm
Yes, that it is definitely an issue when playing in singleplayer.
I made this vehicle primarily for my own creative multiplayer experience.
Where you can have a dedicated pilot and winch operator, along side cargo operators on the ground.

It is possible to use in singleplayer, but definitely requires getting used, so that you can understand the aircraft better.
RNTZH690 30 Jul, 2022 @ 5:10pm
So it deffinitly works. It can be a bitch tho when you gotta land/get out look at the container info. find one. get above it, hope autohover doesnt swing in a circle. and lower the container attachment sometimes tends to break. or only 1 will connect just as im trying to adjust. All in all its a dandy jetfuel guzzling work horse

OMG YES!! Im so using this in my naval war series for container delivery. Gonna make a video of this bad boy in action/how to use and ill post it here for you to use for the workshop.
