Unfortunately it seems this is not working anyome. Pope called for a Crusade on Jorvik and there are Templar Knights in year 887 in my actual game with this mod Active.

Will this mod be updated for 1.13?

From what i can see of the code, it should still work on the latest update.

Also, is there a need for update?

If I used this in a middle of an already existing game, will the holy order created be destroyed?

What does judeo-protestant freemasonry have to do with this mod, Saddam Hussein?

@Dizzy Ioeuy I dont see how. I dont change or add any code that would prevent the decision from being taken twice. Far more likely the AI simply arent taking it. Swap around and see if the decision still appears for other valid catholic characters.

Installed this and am only seeing one order (templar) ever produced. Could it be related?

Holy Orders formed by pacifists exist only to defend against aggression. Personally, I would subject this to a Rule, so that everyone can go away happy.

@TurtleShroom I would agree with you if Holy Orders were possibly not strictly tied to warfare. But considering Holy Orders in CK3 are only military-related, it makes little sense to me that religions that do not enshrine an aspect of warfare in their tenets can form military orders. The availability of forming holy orders to religions like Yapaniya which even have a pacifist tenet is wrong to me. Thus it makes the most RP sense to restrict Holy Orders to strictly religions that have a large scale conception of organized warfare.

This Mod should ONLY apply to Holy Orders tied to Crusades, Great Holy Wars, and Jihads. Otherwise, normal religions without the Warmongering Doctrine will never be given their own Holy Orders. It's not fair to require a given Doctrine to have a Holy Order unless that religion has built-in features like Crusades.

@TheLawnGoat Forge the Jomsvikings is not affected. The only decision affected is the generic Found Holy Order decision.
TheLawnGoat 27 Jul, 2022 @ 8:17pm
Is the Forge the Jomsvikings decisions still allowed?
