I've never read this book and am assuming the borders are based on it, but would you be able to remove kebab (or make a decision to) if you ever update this? it makes no sense that the regions of Anatolia and the Levant wouldn't also be wiped out if Europe was, similar levels of urban development, resistance to the same diseases, stuff like that, even if its just a sub mod for realism them being there makes no sense.

Would you consider changing "Shetlands" to "Shetland" (or better yet, Hjaltland) and Orkney to Norwegian culture? As a local this would better reflect the culture at the time!

i think moscovys borders make not to much sense think it would be better to make him smaller, split up or you give him some provinces back but reduce thier dev by a lot like a 4 dev moskau would i think this would be a better solucion but i pritty much like the rest of the map

also about castile and portugal on the islands wouldnt it be better to make one country of them to unite them together under some kind of trade goverment as kinda refuges that mixed together or something dk

Works fine for me so far. I was always looking for this a few years back, glad to see you running with it! Hope you keep going and add more events (especially something to make the Ottos not go absolutely hog wild with all their natural rivals gone).
Native survivors in the 'empty' European provinces would be a nice as well. Gives a bit more depth and something to consider than moving into completely empty provinces.

Yea it should be fully updated to the newest patch. The few remaining countries are remain that im too lazy to remove surviving nations from the plague.

Im currently doing a full update, this time it should work for everyone, and no decision to boot it. Not all provinces have been updated yet, so do take care with it.

The current update is mostly for testing, so don't use it for a full new game, only for testing usage.

Does not work. Everything is just vanilla. I have no other mods. Tried to resubscribe. Also verified the game files in steam just in case.

I'm just getting missing localization options that don't work when I use this mod and hit the decision. Only used it to test but didn't help.

Probably you know but it may be nice to change a bit how trade goods spawn in european provinces, since Iron and such can't spawn on its own

It still says it was updated for 1.33, I assume that was a mistake and it works on 1.35?

Btw wantet to tell you that I'm currently making a submod with lots of events, flavour and new survivor states! Even tho u said u are eventually going to add missions and stuff I still wanted do add some of my own, I might post it on steam.

Ey I just tested it and antebellum adds so many map changes that only a few provinces in europe get decolonized. Could you make a different mod that decolonizes europe for parabellum provinces?

Just looked at ante bellum and i believe that it "could" be compatible with this mod put under it, but cant garantee it.

I do need to find time to migrate from full files edits to scripts and events, to bolster compatibility.

Im guessing that any mod that doesn't edit the Europe map should be compatible, else it will need some compatibility patch. I do use lots of mods and i haven't found any incompatibility yet.

@chickeness Already got the mod author autorisation to use his mod, and im working on converting some of the countries to add them. For the whole event chain, im not personally a fan of it, but im planning to have either a decision available early on or a event that start on a new game to allow peoples to decide if they want it added to the game or not.

This may have already been covered by someone, but have you considered checking out the miscmod attempt at doing this? It had some really cool events that led to the fast settlement of Europe by Muslim powers. Worth checking out.

@noah.S17 i already had something planned like that for iceland. For portugal and spain, i had some ideas about making them into migrating tribes.

and it just could be a mix of spanish and portugese(Trades, Random refugess, or nobels trying to flee) that got in some kind of storm or something and got of course and randomly landed there and started settling there or whatever something. Its already alternetive history so whatever. Other option could be that as iceland you get events were you investigate old books or some leagends of greenland and randomly found the northern Americas and then first option could be just slowly colonize as iceland or spawn as some kind of Viking nation there.

the thing i mean is that it would be nice to have some one colonizing the americas and that would be to most logical solution to it i geus its just a proposal and thats would be a way for the american nations to get any kind of institution

@noah.S17 i think that's the point of the christian remnants in the Baleares, but the Azores (the islands you're talking about) were colonized in 1439, so it's very unlikely the portuguese tried to get there to flee

one interesting thing you could do is the islands west of portugal that are unihabitated to put there some kind of kingdom like like a remaint of portugal or some kind of union between Portugal and castile like a Iberian staate or something like that.They could just start exploring America or Africa because the Americas have nothing happening there so could be cool i geus or some kind of other kingdom that settelt there (in America or Africa) after the plague like Vinland or something to add a lil bit more of spice i geus.
