Just picked up a Mountain Halo. You guys couldn't petition to Valve to lower the rim-light? I would consider it's current height a bug as it's too high to serve as a rimlight for the majority of hats, AKA higher than you guys initially intended.

It doesn't need to be removed, just lowered. It would be a great change that I feel it really needs.

While it was intended to be a rimlight, we can't change the appearance after it's shipped. We can only fix bugs. Some players like the second light source because it works well when paired with transparent Pyro head cosmetics.

Beautiful effect wish it didnt have that second light source in the head. Besides that, it's one of my fav unusual effects.

It's supposed to function like a reflection on your head. See it as a pseudo rimlight.
If it's too far above your hat then feel free to adjust the position until it fits right.

Just bought a Mountain Halo Pithy Professional, noticed however there appears to be a "second" sun or glow beneath the sun.

Is there any reason for this in particular?

I think that this is a good effect in the concept of taking notice for taller hat cosmetics as advertised, making the effect work for all hats alike.

Fair point. But I think this is more of a nit pick imo.
Sure, clouds irl are not 100% solid, but we still want to see them in the game. Opacity might influence how visible this effect is going to be.
