I want to say thank you very much for this.
As a 25 year vet truck driver, allowing us to make wrong turns and get lost in ATS just add to the experience i have had.
Also being able to go through them allows us to be able to back down these closed roads to turn around if we need to. Something that also adds to the experience.

Usually if there's a surface to drive on you won't fall through, but basically anything can happen once you're off the defined map.

@CraZy leGGs, MM loads from bottom to top basically, i.e. lowest mod get's overwritten by a higher mod. That's why some mods/addons for existing truck-mods state, that you have to put them sometimes "above the main-mod". So it got overwritten by something, but yeah, sounds like it's working now.

@DaStrobel, I don't know how. This mod has always been categorized in order in MM.

Dead ends or blockers are map related assets(I run no map mods) therefore should be placed towards the bottom of MM. I've always categorically organized my MM since 2016 and this mod as well since version 1.49ish without any issues to my knowledge, to date. Maybe it's just a fluke, the only other mod(s) I've installed over the past few weeks are those I mod in blender which aren't nor affect map assets.

@DaStrobel, Hwy 65 north just getting in Mason City then immediately after along Hwy 122 west to the mechanic shop area. I'm currently out of service right now to any loads heading west along Hwy 122 lol.

I just checked Mason City and Waterloo and couldn't find any problems.
Maybe there's an mod-conflict on your end. Try to put this mod above all of your other mods.

Hallo Da sTrobel, danke erstmal für deine ganzen tollen Mods. Leider gab es wieder ein SCS-update und ich würde ,ich freuen wenn du die DeadEnd-Mod auf 1.55. aktualisieren könntest. Für den Realismus im ATS-simulator finde ich sie sehr wichtig.VG nach BY:steamthumbsup:

@SynthSeer, I agree, there are a lot of invisible walls set by SCS to prevent running out of bounds even with this mod. Some areas we can venture out into, some areas even with blockers removed with empty lots, some roads or grassy areas have to be approached with care as well. I find this out a lot when attempting to turn around, invisible wall but it doesn't hurt to try, venture off the beaten path 😉

So glad this mod exists... for both Euro and American truck simulators.

It really really shows just how much more there is to explore in every country/state, so many tiny roads and cities that before this mod were only for NPCs.

Thank you for making this mod fr, been having a wonderful time exploring each corner out of bounds, just gotta be careful to not fall of the map! :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

Do you use any other mod that might cause it?
To me it looks like my mod is NOT causing that problem.

Works great in 1.51. Just be careful if you decide to drive on the roads, many are safe-ish, but if the terrain starts to look a bit odd you'll fall off the map (you can get a tow back still). My only problem now is that I can't tell which roads are barrier or hidden. Gotta find a mod that allows you to drive on the roads, but still has visual that the road is "off limits". Is there a way to make it so that the barriers are road cones, but still passable?

So I just want to be able to park in shopping center parking lots when I shut the game down, like I do in real life. The MOD works as described, but the shopping centers seem to have another barrier (invisible). Are those areas just off limits?

@HU1212ICAN3 give the author time to update it. I'm pretty sure it still works fine on 1.49 as it did on 1.48. The author, much like many of them, likely has a day time job apart from making mods.

Finally, I can drive off of the edge of the world, just like IRL!! No but seriously thank you. IRL I use shopping centers and whatnot to turn around and fix weird situations all the time. SCS seems to think that it impossible for some reason. This fixes that.
