I was teying to spawn the ka-52 and whatnot. However, the rhs option is just not visible on the spawn sign. Pooks, usaf, and firewills spawn option is visible thoug on the sign?

Which Russian Planes are you looking for?
There are only these in the code:

So your trying to spawn planes you want to fly from the RHS Russian side
and their not showing on the menu to spawn is what your asking?

Could you maybe help me out| I installed pooks. usaf packs and they are visible on the spawn sign. However. the rhs option is not visible even though i installed the rhs russian faction pack with vehicles?

Well look at this way, i want to do more ports but i dont know what other terrains
players like to fly on. So if i create more that makes me happy but it mainly
benefits alot of other players that like to fly and are subbed or are interested in
my mission here.
Plus it gives alot more variety, ya its a little work but variety and more maps
make the mission funner, so if you like any particular terrains that
i dont have a port on yet then just let me know.

theres the scenario ports collection on the description tab.
If you would like to see the mission on other maps (terrains) let me know
what terrains and i will work on getting them ported to them, i'm
open to doing that but havent gotten any responses from anyone.

Had alot of fun with this last night. I finally got my HOTAS set up and flying jets is actually enjoyable now, so wanted to dig into jets and see whats up. This is exactly what I was looking for. A continuous mission with respawns and little to no hassle. Absolutely perfect, thanks for making this

Sorry for the late reply, i had to leave for work after my comment, but ya
in the code it dont matter what plane you have of Firewills, which ever one you
have loaded will be available to choose. So if you have one thats fine, if
you have them all that will work too.
Its a bit odd that you need to use MCC to make the planes show as i had no
issues them showing when i had one of the plane mod loaded.
Anyways anymore questions just ask, ill reply as soon as i can.

Dont forget in the description tab there is the collection of all the ports for the mission
so its not only on Altis, if there is another terrain you would like to see the mission
on then tell me and i'll port the mission to it.

Ok, not sure what I did. All I did was enable MCC and firewill's aircraft option appeared. Ah well, disregard this then lol.

Nah, just cup, rhs, and arma 3 aircraft are available. Quick question, do I need to have all of firewill's aircraft? Because I only have certain one's.

Are you not seeing the list on the sign when you access it?

First thing I did before asking, and it only says about rhs and cup nothing about firewill. I see rhs and cup aircraft but not firewill's aircraft in the menu to spawn either for yourself or enemy. Context, I'm trying to do an Ace Combat style dogfight between Eruseans and ISAF only.

Just have that mod loaded only, and then they should show on either
0-8 or 0-0 menus.

Wouldn't know how never did headless client in any mission before, my
suggestion is not to spawn to many patrols as it will bog down the performance.

Hey this is a great mod, I do love how it works and plays. I was wondering if you would consider putting this on a map better suited for air fighting like south asia? Or would you allow me to make one for it? I think this would rock on a map that you can 40 000 View and Object distance and keep 144fps while dogfighting. Let me know. thanks.

Because i removed it from the scenario's tab, it was meant for solo/coop on mp lan or dedicated
respawn dont work in sp scenarios as well as other functions.
What settings do you need to adjust?

why cant i start this mission in my scenario-tab anymore? it works in multiplayer, but i want to adjust the settings without worrying to crash my plane (again)

Hi, and welcome to Arma 3!

You have to play the mission in MP lan to respawn, this mission is not meant for
singleplayer mode, you can play it solo but it needs a multiplayer mode in order for
respawn to function.

In the description above read the "How to play" part
it will show you step by step on how to set up an mp lan server, its very easy.

I don't know how to just respawn without fully restarting. I'm new to ArmA 3 so I'm not really too sure how to fix this

You have to go to the folder RYD_PT, inside that is a script named RYD_PT_fnc.sqf
open that with notepad, or notepad++ go to line 102
it will say this
_group setBehaviourStrong "CARELESS";
_group setCombatMode "BLUE";
_group setSpeedMode "NORMAL";

set the careless to AWARE, and the BLUE to YELLOW
be sure thier inside the quotes as you see them, save and play.

The vehicles are set to careless because eventually they like to sit and congregate in some spots
it depends, but it should work doing that for what you want to do.

Ive Noticed that AA turrets AI seem to be locked to Careless. Is there a way around this? I try to build SEAD style sorties in the scenario

I can remove the dots, i was planning on doing that anyways in an update, i could also setup some stationary targets that will respawn, this way after you destroy them their not final, i actually have this in my WW2 version.
Columns or convoys of vehicles wont be possible, convoys are tricky, their easy to make but to enable them to roam around and then respawn after they were destroyed is the real issue, it all has to be scripted which im no scripter. I'll do the other two at least for the next update, thanks for the ideas.

It'd be fairly cool to not have the dots all over the map show up the moment you spawn something, that makes the map really clustered. Maybe some stationary targets and rare AA, also columns of vehicles would be incredibly nice instead of single vehicles driving around.
