Firstly the multiple initializers (Isolated, completed isolated or connected system) that you picked at empire gen are gone and replaced by just 1, because that makes it much easier to maintain. When the game starts you will get an popup message about how you want to connect to the galaxy - all 3 of your previous options are there.
Secondly I have reduced it to a single class B star. I looked at gigas, and the trinary star didn't make sense, there was just not enough benefit. Now you can have a dyson swarm in the md game, and can always dismantle it later for a gigas single star structure.
Added deposits for minor artefacts and astral threads, and fixed the deposit spawners to ensure that our desired deposists spawn properly.
Lastly flipped some layouts around - asteroids are now in the middle, planets further out. This just makes for more space and everything is less crowded.
Should probably have done this before the question: but I went and actually poked gigas to see if they still worked:
The Steller lifter no longer works on binary/trinary systems
The only ones that can still be legally placed are the psionic hypersyphon and the neutronium gigaforge.
Given that, (one of the stars was B type specifically for stellar lifter) I am leaning more heavily to single star with a fat deposit since that gives you defined value in the midgame, while the gigas are late game and relatively underwhelming for a single structure.
Currently the system runs a trinary system for maximum Gigastructural Engineering fun times in earlier versions.
With dyson swarms now being a a thing, but only available in mono-star systems, should I change the system star to 1 with a large deposit on it?
I will not being doing both, it is going to be 1 or the other.
Given the state of 4.0 I am taking the decision that I am not doing any more mod development until it stabilises, because the 4.0.15 update broke half ym mods completely. I will conintue with basic bug fixes when I have time.
(Started a game with the OP system, could see all the rare deposits, then unpaused, leading to every single deposit disappearing except EC, some engineering research, and some dark matter. Tested it a few times and kept happening.)
There used to be plenty of Sol mods out there
I would suggest trying the non-isolated version (keep scrolling through them, there is a still hyperlane linked version for not breaking the precursors). It may be that UOR tries to fire an event on a nearby star and then crashes when there are no nearby stars
It's just I only had 67 mods and had to wait a week for the modders to update them cause the latest release broke them. Glad to hear this one still works though.
If its not working please let me know what's wrong and I'll have a look.
or add a specific toxic god system (just needs the Hab i believe) with or without wormhole.
Please and thank you. aside from that, Good mod! 9/10
