No, previews show only natural terrain.
any way to get roads and pre-existing structures to show up in the preview?
You have the mod "Desire Paths (Continued)" installed which is causing errors because it is not compatible with Rimworld 1.6
This mod does not remove any map sizes.
Yes
Thanks for the comment, glad you like it!
Looks like asteroids do not follow the same predictable generation as normal maps. I'll see if I can fix it in a future update.
No problem, glad you like the mod
This mod does not affect colonists or equipment in any way.
Map Preview contains a compatibility patch for Better Map Sizes to make it work. The same would be necessary for any other mods that change map size during the world creation phase.
Niilo's QoL allows setting custom size (150x450 in my case) and unfortunately map preview adapts its window only on world screen, after the colony already been generated. During initial process when starting new game window appears to be blurred. Checkmark for mod compat in settings doesn't help.
No problem, glad it worked!
I tried your solution and it worked, thanks !
Unfortunately there is no easy way to do that at the moment, because the reroll window is only available when there is no already generated map for the tile. It might be possible if you make a backup of your save file, then abandon the colony (which removes the map from the tile), then you should be able to open the seed reroll window again.
No.
Worth trying, just have more self control than I did!
I don't speak Chinese. If you want to update the translation, you are welcome to submit your changes as a pull request on GitHub.
Yes I'm aware, it will be included in the next Geological Landforms update. For now you can just ignore the error, it does not cause any problems.
If you found an issue, please post a proper bug report in the Bug Reports section and include your log file.
Currently Harmony is not supported on macOS ARM devices. Use this:

The reroll sub-window sits on top of the dev menu
Thanks for the info. :D
That means also I was only able to solve the problem thanks to your mod. Reloading alone didn't fix the problem. Only when I rerolled the tile.
Thanks for reporting

Please create a HugsLib log (press Ctrl + F12 ingame) and post it in the Bug Reports section, so I can check what is causing the problem.
This was apparently a vanilla issue, and has been fixed with the latest game update that was just released. From the official changelog:
"Fix: Ancient (mechanitor) complex can fail to generate on a map where it should be able to fit"
Report it in the Bug Reports section and include your log file.
The specific error that caused the map preview to fail came from the "Exploration Mode" mod. However your log is also flooded with hundreds of other errors from various mods, so it's hard to tell what the root cause is. Honestly this is one of the worst logs I've ever seen, it's impressive your game can run at all. All I can do is recommend that you clean up your mod list, until the game at least starts up without errors.
