This says it's incompatible with Giddy Up, but does that mean the original version or does it include the more recent Giddy Up 2 Forked as well?

If this mod were only for recent versions I'd assume the latter, but since this has versions as far back as 1.3 I could see it not applying to the more recent versions of Giddy Up. (which as far as I understand have made fairly sizable changes from the original, becoming more monolithic in their design instead of having sub-mods and a core-mod)

If it is strictly incompatible with recent versions as well that'd really suck as I'm not sure which of these two I think adds more depth to the game, but that's life I suppose.

is it supposed to apply to humans? a man hunting raider with a sword spawned and they had the pack leader trait, then they rotted on death

This is the most amazing mod as it makes the planet feel actually naturally dangerous rather than artificially dangerous via raids etc. Can't wait till it's updated, no matter how long it takes!

Hello everyone, please DO NOT ask "1.6????", I'm already struggling with a lot of modding and IRL stuff, asking for updates won't make things faster, I'm already aware I should update. Thanks for your comprehension. Other suggestions are welcomed.

alright, 1.5 version finally compatible, did some minor fixes in 20 minutes and it seems to be working (i made little testing tho), i didnt think it would take such a small amount of time to update, otherwise would have tried earlier xd

Hi Alexsis!!!! -three cheers for the AP mods- remember me? im the glitch that came by last time and was like have you forgotten about me have you found some time to update!!!!!!!!!! :D :D but no seriously XD, that guy is a moron, I speak from personal experience on motivation you work on things at your own pace, I am sure you will update it when you get around to it!!! I am eaggerly looking forward to the day you do update it! I always have a ball with this mod, predators gnawing off the limbs of my colonists when they get dragged away XD. Bro your missing an arm heres a wooden peg to replace XD.

"Try to be useful to people for a change"... Really? That's what you came here to say to the author of a mod that you presumably enjoyed playing with? If only authors could ban people from accessing their mods. For someone who I can almost guarantee has not bought you a Ko-Fi, they'd better set up another stockpile for all that audacity.

@Alexis Popcorn, you've done great work and of course I would love to have the updated version of this if you feel up to working on it again, but when something you enjoy starts to feel demanded of you or like a job, that's when it starts to become unpleasant. Some people feel like you owe them something after you do something nice for them even once. This is a *free* mod that you put your own time and effort into making, you deserve respect. Do what you love, use your creativity however you please and anyone who tells you not to should go pound sand.

I had a lot of fun with this mod in 1.4, but sadly it doesn't seem to work as-is in 1.5 anymore.
When used in 1.5 all animals will stop hunting altogether, so I think it needs an update.

I also have humans showing up in "manslayer pack" raids with the pack leader hediff. Mine was from the waster faction.

I checked the load order. Nothing loaded after this mod even touches animals so I'm at a loss at which mod that could be.

And to top it off the buff has the correct name and armor values, but not the correct other buffs. According to the xml it should be consciousness, sight, moving and manipulation and not pain, sight and tiredness.

I just had the introductory raid with this mod active.

The raider has the buff pack leader.

Since that HUMAN RAIDER ended up in my prison and the buff is constant for what I can see that pawn basically has the equivalent of 4 good bionics for free (armor + sight + knock off circadian cycler + knock off pain block).


I somewhat suspect that this is not intended behavior of the mod.

Neither the debug log at game start nor in game threw any complaints regarding this mod. As far as Rimworld is concerned all is fine.

Thanks for responding to feedback, I believe it's an issue on my end with the manhunter raids being mostly humans. Something to do with the Pawn Diversity mods I have to fill up xenos in fasctions? Regardless, it's unfortunate that the predator spots make the animals, even herbivores like boomalopes, sleep at the corners of the map, making the middle devoid of fauna.

I know the mod needs a lot of tweaks, I'm recently taking some time to review those and try to fix them, I know some stuff doesn't work as well as we would like, some stuff is improvable, but other stuff is just due to the game's limitations, or is just the best approach I can take even if it's not optimal.

So, patience! I will improve the mod

as far as I remember, which prey to choose from is almost identical to vanilla, only thing I'm changing is making humans more likely to be hunted by the titanboa specifically. The vanilla calculation which, again, is untouched, takes current % of health, combat power, and body size.
