How can I stay in that style?
It's a nice mod though
It is very recent and I am helping the author to design the wounds logic. What it does is replace the decapitated head with a semi-decapitated one.

This article is still in progress, and is really just a How-To guide, as subscribing only alters the animations and damage change, and people need to follow the instructions and i'ts not easy.

fix all slasher guns, this will solve their decapitated bug
- Common Infected Headshot Damage, nullifies headshots instakills
- Shove Handler, modifies shove damage and kills

FYI, the two convars that control the speed and HP of commons are, respectively, and with my reccomended values:
z_health 250
z_speed 68
Also remember that when you want to return to normal game mode, re-edit the convars or delete them all and restart the game.
