There now exists a fork of this mod which was updated for RimWorld 1.4 and has support for Hex's "Improve This" mod:

Hi, just had someone let me know this mod isn't working alongside my own:

After looking through the original mod's source code, I can see it's because it adds CompQuality post-game-load, which is obviously strange.

Assuming you haven't substantially rewritten the code, it looks like you'll have to change Quality_CompPatch.DefPatch in order to support my mod; based on how many instances of def.comps.Add/Remove there are you probably also want to split that out into a separate function too.

materials that you get by using the deep drill do not vary in quality, the quality is always normal when obtained from deep drilling. I don't know if this is how the official EHQ worked or not since I never got around to using the deep drill when I did use EHQ.

I also wanted to eventually add it so that the crafting modifiers are affected by quality (for example, if you have 5 excellent stuffable material that gives 150% blunt damage and 10 stuffable materials that gives 125% blunt damage, it calculates the average between them into the final output) I will probably not have the money to invest in it any time soon, but what I'm looking for more than anything is somebody that will take and develop this beautiful baby of a mod as their own with inspiration as their motivator

would you like to pick up a mod I had commissioned by taranchuk before "everything has quality" first got uploaded? I called it "quality of life" and adding quality to everything was just the first step. I had big plans for it but ran out of funding. So far I got it so that quality crafting materials has a 10% chance of affecting the quality of what you turn it into. I also have it so that high quality food gives a hediff that slowly replenishes food over time depending on the quality. Also medicine effectiveness is affected by quality. I eventually wanted to add a mood buff or debuff for food and drug quality, make drug quality affect Overdose chance, and all the various factors of drug stuff.

if u are working with this mod long term you (the mod creator) should play rimworld with as many mods and your mod to look for inconsistancies
