There's a guide by me recreating BNSF Rice's Point Yard in Duluth, MN. It's in German so you have to translate the text using google or so:

Unfortunate indeed. It would have been a great asset to the community.

Did you ever get around to finishing the guide, Trackmeister? Only one I can find in the guides section is "How to make realistic track."

I am stunned by how comprehensive this is. With these references, I should be able to make any and all things shown given enough time! Thank you for submitting this! I hope to get some time to play with this now that things are back to being crazy again. Thank you for your many contributions :)

it's not that hard. go to the custom track drawer, select the desired track type (turnout1, wye, ...) and set all the values (angle, radius, length,...) written next to the examples on the left side...

yea thats kind of the hickup for me im having trouble figuring out how ya do that. only custom track i seem to be able to make is the custom curves. thanks
Ze Trackmeister  [author] 26 Jun, 2022 @ 8:11pm
you have to create them your own with the custom track drawer

I have so many questions how do you get those custom straight turn outs that you use as a building block for much of what you have done?
