Haven't player the game in a while, but have you tried switching to the 'Evolving Traits World' mod.

The dev behind 'Dynamic Traits' has his own mind about how this mod should work that conflict with everyone definition of fun and fair lol

decided to move a closet and suddenly broke a leg. I just love wasting all of my downtime watching my character hobble to the freaking restroom for 10 mins every time, for no reason. WTF was the creator thinking? im so glad i found this.

I did not get my strength back after losing Underweight. It stayed at 2 so my inventory capacity is only 9 which makes me perpetually encumbered when wearing a backpack lmao. Not sure if it's a bug or a feature but I'm doing my best to not get Underweight/Overweight now which is not a bad thing haha.

Ah that's annoying it didn't back in the day when I made that mod. Guess I need to make a new mod to remove that. I hate getting a fracture from something this stupid.

Yeah it's dynamic, get some weight back and you will get your strengh back

Yeah it's part of the bullshit DT added, your constantly battling a cold for the most stupid reason and the fever is deadly.

It appears that in the "Other Mechanic" section of the DTSE documentation, it states that they did not remove the fracture mechanic. But I'll still use this since I hate the Frail and Flimsy for underweight. High Thirst and Hearty Appetite is more reasonable haha.

Not sure if DT is also the reason why I suddenly lost 2 strength when I went back to Underweight. It went down from 4 to 2.

Also, I didn't know that it was DT that caused one of my char to get queasy 4 because of cold haha.

There are some trait difference between the two mods tho so might want to make sure one of you don't have a trait that is not in sauce edition before switching, you can read on the differences here

Yes it work in MP. I also fractured my hand this week on my first few day of survival and I think it's a new thing that DT added. Those thing used to be separated into a sub mod you could disable but he recently walked that back and made that part mandatory to his main mod.

Was concidering making a mod to disable all of that but ended up ditching DT for the DT: sauce edition mod. It's DT but like it was before the DT devs decided to go all hams on a mission to kill as much player as possible with fever and fracture each time you run under that rain or carry 1 item to many.

Sauce edition used to be incompatible with more trait but now it work so it's pretty much a drop in replacement for DT from what I saw. I just disabled one and enable the other one with no issue.

I suggest you make the switch before the fever hits lol

Does this work on dedicated MP server? I have added the Mod and Workshop ID on their respective section in the ini file. We have confirmed and downloaded the mod on our client upon logging in the server. My left hand still got fractured while making stew from cooking pot haha

Ah you were right, it was something else tho. The dev of DT decided to go back to his idea of having this a part of the main mod instead of a sub mod and so my mod was depending on a mod that didn't exist anymore.

I update you should now be able to enable this mod again, but might have the unsubscribe and subscribe again. Make sure this mod is enable as it probably disabled itself automatically.

Took a quick look and the function is still called "fracturesIfHeavyLoad" so this mod should still work. Make sure it's enable in both the mod section and the workshop one.

i´m not sure since the mod is installed i don´t have any fracture but my friend git it today and the original mod dynamic trait had have an update a few days ago mabye this mode doesent work anymore

Actually I took a look at the code and this mod should still work. This is the extend of my code, 2 lines. It overwrite a function in dynamic trait code that is called to check if you back should fracture.

function fracturesIfHeavyLoad()
end

I checked and the name of that function hasn't changed, so this mod should still do it's job.

If anything it's probably just not doing anything and Dynamic Traits is just doing it's normal thing. No way that my code is actually hurting you.

I'll try to find some time to check but for now it's been a while, it's fair to assume Dynamic Traits might have changed his code and broke this mod.

Dynamic Traits has been updated a lot since the last time I played, an update probably broke something. I'll take a look when I have some time.

Just checked and nothing changed so should still work.

You either screwed with the load order somehow or it's something else.. but since I'm requiring the mod it should not mater.

You can always disable "Expanded Moddle effect" and this mod and be sure you won't get fracture. The thing it add are unbalanced as hell anyway, IMO.

Oh I think I need to update it to depend on DT:EME instead of the main mod, must be why.

Btw if you don't enable EME you shouldn't be getting fracture and don't need this mod as the code for this is now in that mod.

Hum I checked and the latest update of DT shouldn't have broken this.

Make sure this mod is after DT in the load order.

Also DT now separated the code that does the fracture into a sub mod called "Dynamic Traits - Expanded Moodle effects" that you could just not enable to be 100% sure you won't get this. The stuff that give you a cold is way too bugged in MP anyway.

Just a patch to install on top of the original, It remove the event from being fired every 10 minutes.
