@Sk It doesn’t. It works when both bond and class systems are active, but you get double bonuses (obviously). When only class system is active you see bonuses added by levels inside character’s infocard but they do nothing.

@Alexander Zagirov I've just tested it and it's working for me. It doesn't work for modded weapons without a patch.

Played for two days, along `Rename Your Weapon` (both with turned off automatic renaming) with no issues so far.

@Nameless Keeper I've updated the mod with a fix that should hope resolve your issue. Try it out and let me know if it works out for you. I can't reliably confirm that it is going to fix your issue since I don't have it in the first place but it's worth a shot.

@Nameless Keeper Unfortunately, I cannot find this issue from my own testing. It could be a mod conflict or a bug that's really hard to find.

Could you go to the following folder?
C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config

There should be a file named Mod_2766683678_WeaponMasteryMod.xml. Open that with notepad or any text editor. There should be a line that has the tag "chancetonameweapon" with a number. If it's not 0 then you haven't updated the settings properly or there's a bug with the settings menu.

@Sk Thank you! I already set the chance to rename on level up to 0%; what happened is that the colonists now rename it without even using it in combat. It doesn't really does much to dissuade me from using the mod (it's awesome), I'd just prefer to not have a single identifiable axe in my colony. Thank you regardless; maybe it's something to look into?

@Nameless Keeper In the settings menu for the mod, you can set the chance of naming a weapon to 0%.

Yes, it's compatible and even for mods without patches, you can still use the bonding system as that just works on any weapon in general.

@Merlijnvm I only managed to test the mod for vanilla. Most of the patches are probably broken since they're so outdated. I thought about removing them honestly but I'll wait and see if I get more error reports. Regardless, I pushed a new version with the fix for VWE.

- Suggestion - It would be cool if pawns also have a weapon preference when they are generated. That way you can equip that pawn with their weapon of choice.

Hello! definitely looking forward to a 1.4 update if/when you're able to! tried myself, but the knowledge needed was past just a smol edit of "change from 1.3 to 1.4" so I could not.

a suggestion:
separate toggle for the (quality) designator in addition to the original item name? I've got Auto Links which will display what the weapon is but I would still need to change the options toggle if I want to check what the quality is.

Don’t know if it’s only me, but stats from weapon mastery (both specific and class) doesn’t seem to do anything. I even set some stats to considerably high numbers to have a better way to test everything, but nothing worked. Shame…

This mod seems to cause huge performance drops when opening an armed pawn's info panel. Not a huge issue since it's just a UI screen and it goes away when it's closed, just a li'l weird and makes navigating it a tiny bit annoying sometimes.

not sure if this is possible either, but would it be possible to add a checkbox 'filter' for the custom classes section that 'hides' all weapons that have a class assigned to them? or really anyway to easily see if a weapon doesnt have a class assigned to it without selecting each one and checking it.

I wasn't sure when you asked the question but I took a look and I don't think there's a good way to add tools sadly.
