A big thanks to all the new subscribers , ive noticed a big spike recently. It is nice that there still seems to be a need for this mod to exist. It also gives me the incentive to keep updating the mod for future updates.

i will give the ai more influence in admin realms, tho not a multiplier. Still should help. I will also make the ai more bold and energetic again, as it think noone that wants to play with a difficulty mod wants passive ai.

The main thing is to increase the influence multiplier of the AI, otherwise it can do nothing at all in Byzantium. It does not fight for the post of governor (themes are empty, there are no candidates)

i think thats about it for now , i will update my mod as fast as possible as always, enjoy and have a great time!

Hey @gonxibx, when you open up the game rules menue and switch the difficulty settings it should say hard, very hard and extremely hard. those are the new added ones from my mod.

reduced lifestyle trait xp gain bonus to 40/60/80%
reduced accolade glory gain to 40/60/80%

added legitimacy gain bonus 40/60/80%
added court grandeur baseline 5/10/15

normal gives the player penalties aswell, while ai only doesnt debuff the player :)

Hey, thank you for you feedback @Hustler One. Prestiege is highly inflated int his mod, i get that. The idea that you have to play as a vassal and play a diplomatic game is by design. That was one of the aspects of the game i always felt were mostly role play or extremely niche cases.

This mod was pretty great. I did a world conquest playthrough with it and found that troop movements actually mattered. You can't just siege enemy holdings- you need to watch where their armies move and decide in real time whether to press your siege or pull back to fight off the enemy armies. I used "Very Hard" on a 100 martial 100 prowess character and had a lot of epic battles. There are only two caveats:

* If you are playing a broken character like I did, there are bigger armies so you will get way too much prestige just by fighting.

* If you are playing a normal character, weak starts are impossible. You'd better be a vassal to a big boy and play your cards carefully.

-AI war cooldown reduced by %25/50/75 yet again. This does not mean the ai will declare wars. Just opens the possibility for it.

I love it <3 If there would be just option in rules setting beside difficulty, to force primogeniture succession law for AI rulers to make them even more harder and stable realms for ai lords on sucession instead of shattering.<3

Update: Adjusted very hard and extremely hard difficulties to be slightly less rediculous
- reduced ai vassal contribution for taxes and levies on extremely hard to very hard level
- reduces tax income bonus on extremely hard to very hard level
- reduced most bonuses on very hard and extremely hard slightly
- vassal opinion and realm priest opinion reduced

small update:

Added icon to show 'not achievement compatible' when setting game rules

Made it so that if you first start up this mod the default difficulty setting is set to hard automatially

mod has been updated to Bastion 1.7*
- removed the plot armor changes to be more compatible with further base game updates.

The mod should work with future updates even if it says it is outdated !

I made some major changes again to try and bring the game to life, i got rid of the ai personality changes, made top lieges have more taxes and levies and adjusted alot of modifiers. Embarkment cost for ai has been reduced. There is less money overall but more for top lieges now. Same for levies.

@天胡 that is hard to say truth be told. That mod seems massive. Id say load my mod first and that mod after this one is worth a try but i cant guarantee there not beeing conflicts.
