Also, and probably unrelated to being added mid-stride, it's just spamming me with newspaper pop-ups of women's rights, and I probably don't need to know or care about women's lib in Peru.
If you want more Operative Slots, "ModifierGUI (Updated)" has an ability to have the maximum (10).
I assume an update would fix the issue, but for the time being the removal of the trait file does the job as well. The additional operatives slots via factories make the change to the advisor unnecessary any ways and the removal of such an overwrite is generally a good thing for compatibility.
Have you reported it to the creator?
Anyhow, when I remove the file from the mod at least this conflict is gone. A dirty fix, not sure if I like it^^
There must be something else interfering with it in your mod list. Do you have a mod that overwrites leader traits?
I mean you add advisor portraits, and affected are advisor portaits. r56 adds advisors too. Seems to be a conflict there. Might be without r56 everything is just fine, but then its not for me. :)
Yeah I know how to make portraits, but I only play this game occasionally and so my commitment to make mods is very low. I already started to make something in this direction but lost interest in playing and so I did not continue with my mod^^
1. No it isn't possible to add this mod in a running game because the variables are all set up on game start.
2. I did not know that there was a female general in spain actually. I don't know much about ww2 Spain in general to be honest. I have not touched this mod nor HoI IV in a while. But if you know how to mod you could create an expansion for this mod and add new portraits to the mod yourself. All you would need is a text editor and an image editor like GIMP. You could link those female portraits to the country specific female leader pool like I did in my mod. The tag for Spain is SPR I believe. When you recruit female generals through this mod the new portraits should automatically be used.
2. Did you consider adding more for Spain? The anarchists are predestined to have more females as Spain is the only country afaik with a female general.
"Gift of Power" is an emergency handbrake if resistance get's to strong for you. You can eliviate the negative symptoms of having bad approval but in exchange you can't make any further decisions for a year.
Thanks you verry much :)
Please could you make it compatible with kaiserredux ? (There is the event but it seems like the Women portrait are replaced/overwrited by Kaiseredux mod)
BTW if your division has seen enough combat, that combat experience will positivley impact the new General's stats!
I recruited 8 new divisions and 5 of them had female commanders.
What mods do you have activated?
1. "Women in the Army" is completed
2. You create a new division OR get rid of a division leader
3. New Division leaders will spawn with a 50% chance of being female
4. Then you promote one of those female leaders to become a general
If so ... you can savely ignore it! And continue playing the game with the mod.
For example I tried to fix the civil war problem in R56. I spent 18 hours and tried many different solutions, but I wasn't able to make it run. And now I have even less time for this.
The next 3 weeks I will be busy preparing. And if they take me I will only have some spare time on weekends for the next 12 months straight. And I don't think that I will find the energy to work on such time consuming things after crawling through the mud for 5 days.
