Can you update this ship ?
BreezeRider  [author] 29 Jun, 2014 @ 12:19pm
@THE kilroy, thank you again :) STEAL IT! let me free XD
BreezeRider  [author] 29 Jun, 2014 @ 12:17pm
@Brenner oh thank you :) yeah looks merge system has been changed a bit. I really like this game, I dont wanna play this under stress(getting hot here in summer, my brain already overheated!). we all inspire each other. I think that's good enough :)
Brenner 29 Jun, 2014 @ 10:27am
Awesome concept, looks great too. Great way to store the modules. I even managed to grab the modules without turning the mergers off first, maybe the devs reduced the pull or I was just lucky.

Oh, and I know how you feel about updating headache .. I tried to update my own modular concept, the "Space Train" today. I added connectors to the existing mergers to create a working conveyor network over the entire train. But for some reason I can't merge AND connect. If I merge, I can't connect the connector even though they are perfectly positioned. If use only connectors, the thrusters of the different wagons don't work together because the game still considers them to be different ships.

Breeze. I know what you mean about updating. I think in this case, it actually requires an entire new build. Love to help out some time, or maybe ill just steal it =]
BreezeRider  [author] 28 Jun, 2014 @ 8:24am
Ahhhh...it's getting stressful to update more than I thought. Headache! XD. I think it's still fine with 1.036 build..although it's now definetly better to use only connector between ship and module. I'll leave the rest to you guys. Free to use and change for any purpose. Sorry! XD

@THE killroy. thank you for the comment, yeah, I'm working on it. gotta change whole thing XD. give me a day.
THE kilroy 27 Jun, 2014 @ 4:45pm
You should update it using connectors. Now that they work.
DaddysSquad 26 Jun, 2014 @ 7:32am
She's a very beutiful ship!
BreezeRider  [author] 25 Jun, 2014 @ 3:27pm
@DaddysSquad, it's fast and agile as much as fighter class with 2 large thrusters to forward + extra gyros, thanks for the comment :)
DaddysSquad 25 Jun, 2014 @ 1:47pm
how fast does it go?
BreezeRider  [author] 22 Jun, 2014 @ 12:46pm

@Halt, Firefly? you mean it looks like firefly or another workshop title ' Firefly'? or person nickname? anyway my answer is no :) thx for the comment XD
とまれ 21 Jun, 2014 @ 7:24pm
This looks inspired by Firefly's design of the ship of the same class. No?
BreezeRider  [author] 21 Jun, 2014 @ 6:08pm
@Moh, hi :) yeah group shortcut name on panel might be confusing. merge block stuff is still very unstable. once merged out, everything goes messy. I hope Devs give us better version of this in future. new landing gear is another cool thing I think. more possibility. yeah that's good idea. probably new autolock system is more fitting to hang module arms. I'll add new gantry for quick use. thank you for comment and opinion :)
BreezeRider  [author] 21 Jun, 2014 @ 5:38pm
@Perppar, thx for the comment, looks like compliment :)

Amazing setup and designs for this ship and the attending micro-ships.

While your instructions are succinct and easy to follow, there's still a bewildering amount of information to sort through in the ship-system menus. Things aren't helped by the merge blocks still having the occasional glitch, or by some of the system names - which add even more confusion to such a merger heavy build.

With the new landing gear changes, I would suggest optimizing the gantry such that the ship merely needs to connect to 'docked' components and pull them free from a landing gear with a moderately low 'grip strength' (1 kilo-newton seems to be agreeable for such a powerful thruster arrangement). As for long range transport (aka copy-paste to a new world), the ship is perfectly capable of carrying at least one example of its attachments without issue, and even handles admirably while carrying everything around.

NOICE FOCKIN SHIP M90
mainman879 19 Jun, 2014 @ 6:38pm
Yeah me and a friend had 2 big ships that we wanted to merge together for convenience so we make a long pole on each of them with 1 merge block on the end, and when we try to connect them it created a lot of sparks then like blew up and one ship went for a joyride while spinning chaoticly. Was freaking hilarious while quite scary as we almost broke our ships.
BreezeRider  [author] 19 Jun, 2014 @ 4:41pm
@[UHA] Mainman879. I love it too but currently it makes stong impact when pulling each other. thx for the comment :)
mainman879 19 Jun, 2014 @ 1:36pm
I love the merge block, absolutely amazing addition to the game. Gj on this

@mid endian. oh I want to know how to change respawn ship. you can tweak my ship to your taste. it's just basic demonstration. should I add Swiss mark on ship ? XD thx for the comment. :)
mid endian 18 Jun, 2014 @ 8:54pm
and yeah, I'm thinking of changing the standard respawn to your swiss space engineer toolset ;)
mid endian 18 Jun, 2014 @ 8:53pm
when I think of a respawn ship, a miner that needs to survive, your bumble bee worker and modules are what comes to mind. supply enough components for the refinery and assembler, and work for everything else. I'd rather have tools I can use in most situations than a factory which is slow to lug around.

so yeah, great proof of concept here. one bumble bee set can help a whole crew with their station and large ship designs, and focus on getting work done then gutting another respawn ship for parts. nice work!

@laser26892, thank you! XD.

Nice ship.I think you have thought of something nobody else has, thats a trait of a good builder.I just use original ideas for my ships.
BreezeRider  [author] 18 Jun, 2014 @ 4:29pm
@ArcticSloth. I wanted to make more practical ship than fancy look :). thx for the comment XD.
ArcticSIoth 18 Jun, 2014 @ 4:25pm

@im a block105. thx for the commnet :) unfortunately I'm not good at making a video. but it's pretty simple to use. currently tuning a bit for easy use. I'll add some instruction for use later :)
TinkerHat 18 Jun, 2014 @ 7:43am
hi i like the ship can i use it in a role play youtube video
BreezeRider  [author] 13 Jun, 2014 @ 6:05pm
@Madsman, thx for the comment :)
Madsman 13 Jun, 2014 @ 4:05pm
Great idea, I'm gonna play around with it for a bit. It would be good for mass production on multiplayer servers, were you can edit the modules on your ship, rather than having to use someone elses ship.

Love the idea!
~Madsman.
