Yeah, I've just been using this mod when at an equipment dock, and using the other one when 'underway' for restocking, so it at least feels a little more balanced.

You can install the torpedo production mod to, once you create a torpedo, produce it using the resources you've collected. That's what I do, it works pretty well.

The mod is designed to be a little bit cheaty. You can pay credits for the torpedoes and I do not plan to implement a delay for the production.

Hello! I love that you have support for Hydra torpedoes

Between the resource cost and time delay to produce utilizing assembly blocks on the ship...would it be possible to implement an option similar to that? Feels a little cheap being able to just build them all for free and instantly...

Hi, apologies - Since I made that comment, I figured out a workaround. Using the torpedo production mod you can make custom torpedoes with your mod, then build them with the the other mod.

I cannot reproduce the problem you describe. I just created an alliance, deposited credits and resources, and then built an alliance ship.
On this ship I could then buy torpedoes without any problems, which were correctly paid for with alliance credits.

Correction, you can only buy torpedoes with personal credits and not alliance ones - this is still problematic, though.

Torpedoes can only be bought with money, not resources - is there a way to change this? In addition, the buy button is greyed out for some reason?

Hello, unfortunately the values of the torpedoes are largely random. It is therefore not possible to generate exactly the same torpedoes with the seed or a saved file. Also your current distance to the center is included in the values. This mod only generates random torpedoes and then adjusts the values manually. Therefore, a specific torpedo cannot be used as a drop or mod. With turrets, however, it is possible.

Hi, is there a way to extract our custom torpedo and add it to the loot table or to make them into a separate mod to upload to workshop? I want to make a range of early/mid-game weaponry (using the custom turret mod too) and share them with my friends

Ah, the low resolution was the problem. The minimum window size was 1000x900 so it didn't fit on your screen. I've updated the mod to fix that.

I don't know why but the UI of this mod when I go to use it, extends far beyond my screen and cant do anything about it..

I have had a discussion with the creator of Hydra Torpedoes and now an update is out. So now Hydra Torpedoes also work with this mod.

love this, but uhhhh... None of the hydra torpedoes work right, they all end up trying to make nuclear hydra torpedoes not sure if its something on my end though

I always felt like there should have been a way to produce a desired specific type of torpedoes (just like fighters), especially since you lose the torpedo on use. This helps lots
